Notice Buddy List Limit Is Changing

    Greetings Royallers,

    As many of you know - we have been in the process of developing a new source code for MapleRoyals which is expected to be released at the end of this year. When we make the move to the new source code we will be restricting players to having a maximum of 100 buddy list slots instead of 255. The reason behind this change is that because we are attempting to emulate the original game as accurately as possible, there are certain functions that will not work properly because the client is not intended to be able to support more than 100 buddy slots. Additionally, having more than 100 buddy slots reduces the performance of the source code and client, and also increases bandwidth usage.

    Players should ensure that they reduce their amount of buddies to 100 or less before the 31st December 2016. If you have more than 100 buddies when we move to the new source code, any buddies over the 100 limit will automatically be removed from your buddy list.
