Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone had any guides in regards to the Christmas event. I've been playing Maple for almost a decade now, however, I've never really participated in the Christmas Event. I guess I'm just curious as to what quests are available and how to complete them (and of course the end rewards). I've tried asking around in the Christmas map however in most channels people are AFK or unresponsive. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thomas
The Christmas event brings us 5 new sub-events. 1) Quests (a) Maplemas Hat / Versalmas Hat - Little Suzy's X-Mas Dilemma Proceed to the pyramid (the storage npc) at the left hand side of NLC, talk to Little Suzy and she will ask you to talk to O-Pongo, which is located at the top of the tower (utmost right side of NLC). After talking with him, jump down the tower and talk to Rooney, who will teleport you to Happyville. Once you are there, keep walking until you see "Maple Claw (npc)". Talk with him. Afterwards, talk to Rooney again to move back to NLC. Talk to Little Suzy and she will give you a 'wish list'. From here onwards, you have to CHOOSE. You either get the Maplemas Hat or the Versalmas Hat. If you complete the "A very merry maplemas", you will get a Maplemas Hat from 'Maple Claw'. To do this, you talk with Maple Claw to accept the quest. Then, you talk with him again to give him the wish list. If you complete the "Happy Versalmas to You", you will get a Versalmas Hat from O-Pongo. Again, to do this, you talk with O-Pongo to accept the quest and give him the wish list. (b) Elpam's Gift When you go to O-Pongo, Elpam is situated right below him in NLC. Talk to Elpam to accept quest. Complete the quest by talking to him. You get a useless reward (cheese) in return. (c) Torr's Horn (Repeatable) Once you enter happyville, you will see Torr. He requests for us to search his horn. After accepting the quest, go to the cash shop and search every section and every page to find the horn. This can be purchased for 1 meso. NO NX REQUIRED. The reward is Rudolph's Red Nose. It expires. However, there can be certain stats attached to it, i.e. weapon attack. It is a face accessory. It is also trade-able. (d) Festival of Lights (Repeatable) I heard the rewards are crappy. I didn't bother completing it. I can only tell you where to accept the quest. Go to Happyville, then talk to the guy next to Torr and he will teleport you somewhere. In that place, you will see a npc, which would give you the quest "Festival of Lights". 2) Special drops for islanders or collectors So far, I've only obtained a level 10 weapon for spear and dagger, which looks like a Christmas tree. There is also maplemas light or w/e that's called. It gives speed bonus. There is also a cactus weapon which adds hp, useful for bossing when you need hp. I personally prefer using a tube instead. Here's a thread about what is dropped. 3) Snowman Event The mechanism is similar to Pierre. First, proceed to Happyville and move to the right end of the map. If you see the reindeer, then that's the npc required to enter a map known as "Extra Frosty Zone". To enter, you need 100 NeverMelting Snow, which is tradeable (~1m/100 snow). You can obtain these from any mob in maple. Do not enter too early, as there would be a timer before they kick you out of the map. When the 'snowblower' fills to 50%, which will be announced, it is about time to enter. Once the 'snowblower' fills to 100%, the snowman will spawn in all channels, which can be killed independently. I prefer to enter from the first few channels. If you enter too late, it'll say it's full. cc and try again. Once you entered, you can prepare in advance by walking to the right end of the map to purchase a "mitten glove" (or w/e it's name is), which will act as a claw. Then, purchase the '1000 snow', used as a throwing star for that weapon. If you want, you may also fill in more snow to the 'snowblower' so it spawns quicker. When the snowman spawns, use the mitten glove to attack it. Note: ONLY NORMAL ATTACK WORKS. NO SKILL OR BUFF. The snowman is split into three stages. The first stage is a cute snowman. The second stage is a ... well... medium size snowman. The last stage is a fat snowman. In simple terms, kill it three times. A 'present' will drop. You need to pick that up ASAP. Then, you can leave the map and head back to Happyville. Proceed to the middle of the map to find a christmas tree to turn it in. The reward is random. It can be NX (1k/5k), Chairs, Pots, and socks. The Red sock is good for scrolling and is worth loads. 4) Stars of Maplemas Spirit This is similar to halloween candies, where you turn in the "stars" to 'Maple Claw' in order to exchange for certain items. You can find the list simply by talking to 'Maple Claw'. No explanation is required here. 5) Mom & Dad's food This is similar to Pie Monster in the Thanksgiving event. You kill mobs to spawn a 'pig'. There are strategies to farming these foods, but for competition purposes, figure that out yourself. Kill the pig and you have a chance to loot 4 kinds of food, which is tradeable (~2-3m/food). Mom & Dad is situated in Henesys Hunting Ground 2, up the pink rope. Turn in the 4 categories of food and you'll be rewarded with nx AND a random item (out of the four listed in the event page). Once you collect all four of those, you can turn in for Rudolph's Shiny Nose (which does not expire) and Snow fur cape.

I thought that Maplemas was the better holiday so I gave Little Suzy's Wishlist to Maple Claws. In return, she gave me a red Maplemas Hat that I can wear proudly to show my Maplemas Spirit! Every time I help Maple Claws recover the presents stolen by monsters, she'll reward me; I'll now be able to redeem presents with her in batches of 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 90, or 100. I'll get different rewards at different tiers; the more presents I bring at one time, the better the rewards! I'll need to bring her presents appropriate to my level though.Bringing Maple Claws more presents will also help me earn Maplemas Spirit! If the total amount of Maplemas Spiritaccumulated on my world beats out the total amount of Versalmas Cheer, Maple Claws will have a special something for me at the end of the event! So i guess for royals event this year, the quest ends at receiving the maplemas/versalmas hat
