Here are some facts about MapleRoyals: MapleRoyals has been in it's official state for 3years, 2months, and 4 days There are currently 144 max level characters Right now there are 1654 players online So can we have a new world now? Last year this was suggested there was 500 players online and the defense against doing so was that it would split the playerbase into low amounts for both worlds. I don't think that's a solid argument anymore. If anything it would benefit splitting it now.

The server would pretty much die if it's split. Most players will remain within the old server while a max of few hundreds move to the new server. I see no long term benefits. United we stand, divided we fall.
I really think it would be of benefit for everybody if we stayed as one world. The community isn't growing out of hand and it creates a stable and balanced economy, gameplay, and lifestyle for most of the users. Creating another world to give options might separate friends and communities, which probably will do more harm longterm. Just my 2 thoughts.
I'd love a new world to snatch some of my favorites IGNs but I agree that it's not necessary at the moment.
The current state of the server is really bad for new players, when you start out it really feels like there is only 10 people on the server. I know a lot of people who quit because of this, standing around a pq area for 1 hour before you get a party. It really does not get better until you start bossing, I spent a lot of time trying to grind at 75+ and it was for the most a horrible experience with everyone basically leeching. I really think a new world would attract a lot of new players if you got the word out there,
I suggest u take those igns already because i highly doubt that a new world would allow for more igns than is currently available.
That's the thing, they are already taken. But I'm wrong though, I was thinking a new world would reset the nicknames because well, it acts as a separate universe but now that I think about it 2 characters having the same IGN on one account sounds a bit silly.
I would like to give an opinion on this thread ( which i wanted to see a long time ago). As a player who has been Mapleroyal's true follower for over 2 years now ( started on fall 2014), I think that making another world is A MUST!!! I'v played this server when there were 250 players online on a strong day. and by the day the online grew. Let me tell you guys what i think at least third of the players that play now( I'm not including the players who lust this but do not play at all) think. Us the group who do want the new world just want to experiece everything all over again, I'm not expecting a wipe but this is not nostalgic anymore... When i started playing with some friend back in 2014 it was so simple, gosh we didn't even know what LEECH was, we all did PQ's and it was such a good nostalgic experience, We didn't care about HP washing and chaos scrolls, all we wanted is to have fun. The problem is that by the years this all disappeared and now most of the items are worthless, i mean there are so many items out there that most of them become worthless. I remember the first item that i scrolled on this server, it was a top for thief for lvl 80 , i landed one 30% and five 70%. I was shacking, it felt like a huge accomplishment. Now this is of course worthless but that is not my point. Me and many others ( this of course will attract many others ) want a new world to start over and enjoy these little moments and play as low lvls and grow stronger every day. And for people who might say that this can be done on this server, let me tell you that i'v tried and believe me it's not the same, every famous map that you will go to is occupied by mage who is leeching some OP NL who has lots of INT. Although the server is full with players, i really have to say that i enjoyed playing with 200 other players in 2014 who shared the same experience as me. Sorry for the long post it's just that i see all those comments that say that this is a bad idea and i think that you should at least give it a try like you did in the beta server and see how it goes.
2 years later... Another new world for nostalgia? U can still enjoy the game as u did in the past, as long as u're not competitive. OT: I dont think a new world is necessary , it might even end up merging again, just like maplesea.

As i wrote above I tried and it's nowhere near the same, there are no players at PQ's , and players do not train in parties as it used to be, now it's every man for himself and whoever has more cash can buy more leech... A new world means fresh start for everyone and all the features of the game such as PQ's and hunting together would be available and players would actually use them.
