Mac OS Support was the reason why I first started playing royals. I looked everywhere far and wide for a server that could bring me the nostalgic effect of old school maplestory that I could play on my Mac, because quite frankly its all I have. For school/a career I create electronic music and you bet your butt that music software takes up a ton of space. I cant just divert the music software to a usb/external because it values to atleast about $4000 USD and there are thousands of files that if even one gets out of place I will lose the entire software. This is where my problem comes into play because I dont see a solution to this for me, except buying a notebook or something. There is no way in the world I have the space to run a VM and like Ziren has commented earlier, they make my Mac run hot anyway. I have been an on and off royals player for about 2 years now and it has been a fascinating time, every single time I logged in. Im honestly considering buying a small cheap pc for the sole purpose to run Royals on, but for right now I guess Im just going to put this lovely server to the side. Thank you very much to the GMs Admins and Devs for making this server possible, and thank you for your continued work on fixing this problem.

i think it would be possible to run vm out of an external drive. My mbp doesnt really run hot from running maple with my parallels win xp vm but i can only speak from my personal experience.

My Macbook Air gives me a very rare problem when trying to install Windows on it (via Bootcamp). Basicically screen freezes upon Windows Installation and I am unable to continue past the installation page. It seems to work (the screen), so instead of freezing I have come to the conclusion that my keyboard is non-responsive and any USB keyboard I connect is non-responsive as well, on the installation page. The only way to get pass this seems to be through a "low-level format" which I am not going to do for obvious reasons...

So I guess it's goodbye for now, too bad, I loved this server so much that I started to refer it as the real version of MS! :)

I was wondering if you have any friends (i don't mind personal messaging) to have a step by step guide to download VM on Mac? I am really dumb on computer software at times and I really hope to play Royals :)

Hey! So virtualbox works great from when ive used it and its free. This is one of the better guides ive seen on setting it up http://aruljohn.com/info/virtualbox-install-windows/
Youll need a copy of windows though to set virtual box up. Youll need a .iso of windows(a .iso is just the type of file the copy of windows is.) this is a 90 day renewable trial of windows 7
    https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/
Another option is windows xp service pack 3. You can easily google windows xp sp3 cd key and find a cd key for it and here is tims thread with a download link for windows xp sp3 https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...graphical-glitches-closing-your-client.16643/
Just pay attention to the part about windows xp. Not vmware. Sorry if its still confusing! Im typing this at 7 am with no coffee! :p

Hello there, I understand you guys are really busy for the new source. It's been a while since I sent my email so I figured I should ask whether if my refund email was received or need more verification or you guys are just too busy.

Hello, sorry for reviving this thread but I'm not sure where else to post. I'm wondering if development for a mac client is still happening in parallel, considering how much work has been put into the windows client for it to be functional. If so, are there any updates on the progress/timeline? Thanks a bunch in advance.
