After bailing on my first character cause mages were waaaaaay too hard, I made another character. Someone told me to not spend my AP until later in game and to use them minimally at lower levels. I added only a few points into each stat. Ended up grinding to level 10 with like 10 of each stat and the rest in my point bank...
Ya man, fuck this game mechanic. Other games usually have tutorial where it explains 90% of the game. We can screw our ap build and only realised it maybe after lvl30
LOL didn't expect so many responses.. I totally relate to the one saying that he imagined pots as in those pots in the kitchen. I still remember sitting and watching my brother play and he said he got 400 pots from someone and I was like, okay just how do you fit 400 pots into a cabinet...? Good old times. Keep em coming!
I remember looking at the stats being divided by STR, DEX, INT and LUK. So when I played Maplestory for the first time, I saw those stats like this STR being how strong you were DEX being how fast you were INT being how smart you were LUK being how lucky you were So by basing it off like this, I completely fucked up my character in the first week playing this game when I thought to myself "I'm going to make a smart ass warrior!"
Was tryna find my friend in henesys. Had no understanding of the concept of channels, pms or whispering... Looked like an idiot shouting for him in all chat xd
