Some observations regarding warrior books: 1. If I remember correctly one of the skeles also drops Achilles 20. I'm just not sure if it's the young ones or the older ones with the walking stick >.> 2. I was led to believe zakum drops Power Stance 30? 3. Achilles 30 is also a Manon Drop. I hunted it myself! You put the icon of Elemntal Boost in Wrath of the Octopus... And a friend of mine got Battleship Cannon from another monster. I'm not sure which one. Other than that, it's a great guide ^^ Edit: He got it from Squids.
Yeah I thought this was going to be a completely accurate list, but a small mistake made the entire thing be almost totally incorrect. I'll need to redo it at some point. Shame I no longer have the .psd.
When I saw that Matt had posted in this I was like, "OMG is it updated!?!?!?" Oh well, I only need a few books at the moment anyways.
Any update on this? Was originally posted almost 9 months ago D8 I understand theres other important things to be working on, but if the mistake is known and things are just switched around, it shouldn't be too difficult to make a new list? Atm it can be confusing for people that didn't read any replies to the thread, there should at least be an edit on the original post Also just a suggestion, the image is very nice looking but I think it may be more helpful to have it in text for ctrl+f purposes, being able to skip straight to what your looking for, or seeing what books drop from pianus for example
We are working on the d/c issues (zakum) > ToT/Ulu city > Website & Database. I've removed the image from the thread to avoid any further confusion.
Any bowmasters know if Hurricane 30 drops from any boss? I looked at a before big bang database website and it states only Leviathan/Lyka drop it, neither of which exist in the server.
Currently re-making this guide using our own database - stay tuned! PS - Left Pianus seems to have a pretty lousy drop rate of most skill books.
Left Pianus has been fine for me and Kevin.. Can't same the same about Shadow Shifter 30 from right Pianus though. Also can anyone confirm that GPQ actually drops Assassinate 30?
Oooops, I think I got my Pianuses the wrong way round! My bad! I'll explain more clearly. The Pianus which drops the lvl 30 Mastery Books does not appear to have a very good drop rate of most of these books. I killed over 60 Pianuses on the test server and there's a number of books that didn't drop at all from those 60.
Well, it should... I don't think most of us have done GPQ enough to get it, though. Books from GPQ are rare. :l
Well, either bad luck or it's glitched. I doubt that if the other books drop, Assassinate wouldn't, so... I'm guessing bad luck. I can't confirm this, though... I don't have Assassinate 30 yet. ;c
Pianus has a drop rate of 1 in 334 per item dropped (without the 2x), whereas most mastery book drops from bosses are 1 in 25x. Please correct me if I'm wrong
You're probably right, but it seems odd that it has such a low drop rate of mastery books - well, the right one in particular does. It's got a pretty low drop rate of anything other than money and Pianus Certificate, tbh.
