Quest Bugs

When reporting a quest, please be as specific as possible. Reports like "Some quests don't give rewards" aren't very helpful.

  Details: When turning in all the items (1 Scroll for Bottomwear for DEF 100%, 1 Scroll for Helmet for DEF 100%, 1 Scroll for One-Handed Sword for ATT 100%, 1 Scroll for Topwear for DEF 100%, 1 Red Whip, 1,000,000 mesos) and pressing "ok" to get the skill, a popup with the text "This quest has ended due to an unknown error" appears.

Description: No real idea what went wrong, but I got an error message spam clicking Lakelis to rush for KPQ. I ran in hospital because chat was busy and didn't want to lose message.

• Details: Unable to pick up quest.

 

Successfully completed but it didn't remove Abel's Glasses or Miscellaneous Glasses from my etc.

 

Quest: Sand Bandits and Red Scorpions——True or False
NPC: Sirin
Location: Nihal Desert
Details: After going into the Hidden Street, I could not open the door with password "Open Sesame", with no window showed the input dialog box.

 

Quest: Mrs. Ming Ming's Second Worry
Location: Henesys
NPC: Mrs. Ming Ming
Details: Quest requires 20 pig heads when accepted and in the quest menu but only requires 15 to complete.
Kinda glad since it took ages just to farm 15

 

Quest: The Soul Collector

• Quest: The Bottled-Up Letter
• Location: Aqua Road: Two Palm Trees
• NPC: Robinson
• Details: When you go to start the Quest, you get an error saying: The quest has ended due to an unkown error

Quest: Sand Bandits According to Eleska

• Location: Ariant

• NPC: Eleska

• Details: You have to go inside the castle to the Palace hallway and the light that I am under in the picture, you should be able to enter to obtain the sky jewel from a box I believe. You are unable to enter the room. When I attempt to enter, it says Sorry, the area is currently unavailable and should be back soon.

 

Quest: Joining Zenumist

• Location: Magatia

• NPC: The Broker

• Details: To get the cape for zenumist, you are supposed to take the bottle and drop it in front of that blue pillar thing and it should drop an item. Well, when I first dropped it, it took the bottle but didn't drop anything. So I forfitted the quest and started it again to get the bottle back and try again, well it wont take the bottle now nor drop anything.

 

So, Its sorta about a quest and at the same time its not. This item Cat's Eye is used for a quest in ariant. I can't remember which one. They are supposed to drop from meerkats in ariant. I was doing a quest in Magatia where I have to kill Scorpions and for some odd reason Cat's Eye dropped from them. I don't even have the quest for cat's eye in progress.

• Location: New Leaf City
• NPC: Icebyrd Slimm
• Details: The etc needed for the quest "Boomer Core" does not drop from the mob "Boomer".
  
  
  
  PS: As a suggestion if/when fixed, if low drop rate, increase the amount of mobs that spawn since you need 150 of that. On both of the maps where you find them, you only find a very little spawn. Suggesting it simply because, from the same chain quest line I am doing for the Warrior Throne chair, the quest etc needed about a 30 for one of the prequest called "Lost! "and the other etc needed about a 60 for the quest that follows "ReVersal". I literally spent at least 1+ , possibly 2 hours for EACH of those quests to finish them and they had a good spawn unlike the one for the mob "Boomer". And since you need a 150 of these well.. thus my suggestion.

 

This happened for me too, but once you start the correct quest chain it drops from Meerkat as it should. The drop rate is very low so I can't confirm if it continues dropping from Scorpions still after you start the correct quest.

 

BBB hidden street says they drop from both meercats and scorpions. I've not had any luck getting them so far and I'm on the correct quest, but they do drop apparently regardless of quest status.

 

Oh ok. I didn't check the BBB Hidden street about that. I had already done the quest with the Cat's Eye and was surprised that it was even dropping period since I didn't have quest activated as I already completed it.

 

Looking at the BBB.hidden-street post of the Cat's Eye, it lists Scorpion as the only mob that drops it (incorrect and contradicts the quest info/dialogue). I also don't remember it dropping from Scorpions in Pre-BB GMS.

 

My bad, I meant that BBB hidden street says it drops from Scorpions, Maple tip says Meercats, and the database says both.
