With the new source comes a revamped spawn, mirroring that of original GMS. While the new source is being worked on and in the upcoming weeks, the spawn rates will remain untouched but in the future if adjustments are needed it may be looked into.

However, with this adjustment I wanted to share some good finds that I feel would be good training places for people before 4th job.

    Level 20-30:
    Sand Rats in magatia
    test

    Level 40-50(?)
    Mithril Mutae
Map: Lab - Area B-1 (Magatia)

    Level 50-60+(?)
    Roids
Map: Lab - Area C-1 OR Mini Dungeon "Critical Error" (when available)

    Slime Tree and Pig Beach
    Levels 45-50+
    Straw Target Dummies

    ]Lvl 60 - 70+
Red nose pirate den (good map to party up in too)

    MP3 (Mysterious path 3)
    50-60+

]Fire poison mages will be happy to see that El Nath "Watch out for Icy Path" is viable again around level 50s!
    [IMG][/QUOTE]

More will be coming as I go through and work on quests everywhere. Need to include Truckers, Lower Ascent,, tornado corridor etc.

This is outdated and im too lazy to update it.
Exp/hour's are recorded solo with hs and a leecher, on an i/l arch mage. Different people grind differently, and might get higher or lower exp in these maps. I used the rotations i found to be most effective when recording exp.
    [Lv88] Black Kentaurus:
    [1 hit]: 20m/h

    [Lv100/105] Cornians:
    [1 hit]: 42m/h

    [Lv110] Newts:
    [2 hit]; 43m/h
    [1 hit]: 74m/h
Seems like a common misconception these days that newts are the new best leeching map, but it really isnt. I got 74m/hour when i was efficiently rotating around the map (aka going up and down), killing all the mobs in the map. Afk holding down meteor/gene/blizzard in that one spot is honestly pretty terrible and not really worth it (only around 50m/hour). If you're gonna do that then you might as well go ulu2, which is not only easier to 1 hit and gives similar/better exp, but also gives ALOT more meso than newts ever will. Petris and Dukus are still the best choice for exp atleast from my observations. :)

    [Lv110/113] Skeles (2nd map):
    [2 hit]: 25m/h
    [1 hit]: 46m/h

    [Lv110/113] Skeles (Main map):
    [2 hit]: 46m/h
    [1 hit]: 68m/h
    [Lv85/90] Ulu 1:
    [2 hit]: 22m/h
    [1 hit]: 27m/h

    [Lv90/95] Ulu 2:
    [2 hit]: 37m/h
    [1 hit]: 55m/h

    [Lv105] Ulu 3:
    [2 hit]: 31m/h
    [1 hit]: 49m/h

    [Lv105/110] Along ulu city:
    [2 hit]: 46m/h
    [1 hit]: 80m/h

    [Lv110] Petris:
    [2 hit]: 50m/h
    [1 hit]: 75m/h

    [Lv115] Dukus:
    [2 hit]: 57m/h
    [1 hit]: 78m/h
    [Lv121] Ob1:
    [2 hit] 47m/h

    [Lv124] Ob2:
    [2 hit] 65m/h

    [Lv128] Ob3
    [2 hit] 60m/h
    [Lv94/97] Squids:
    [1 hit]: 36m/h
    [Lv70] Windraiders:
    [1 hit]: 10m/h

    [Lv70/80] Stormbreakers (Cavern of Pain):
    [1 hit]: 23m/h

    [Lv80] Wolfspiders:
    [1 hit]: 20m/h

Sand rats were great in gms. I think I used to use lower ascent back in the day too and mp3 would be awesome!

Dukus was actually not that far off petris in the old source, so if petris are worse now and dukus better, they might be the new best end game mage spot. Gonna have to see after i test ;)

    .

The mini dungeon for dukus is far better than the original map. If it has been applied. It should be the most optimal place to grind if you can 1 hit them Of course, again it would also depend on the volume of spawn.

Ive turned my mule into a warrior and can confirm that "Slime Tree" and "Pig Beach" have been restored to their former glory. Sand Rats also confirmed good. Scorpion spawn in magatia viable as well

Straw training dummies in Mu Lung are level 50 and definitely a good place for ranged attackers like assasins now

Considering I'm testing the spawns on a 195 night lord....that's kind of hard right now. When trading is enabled again I'll more than willingly create the bandit I wanted to make and test out various places. For now I'm just listing places that are worth checking out.

I remember this was basically f/p endgame while i/l had red drakes (steelies $$$$$). fking nexon was racist against f/p mages because i/l didn't suffer potburn $$$ as badly as we f/ps did

I heard Road To Oblivions 4 spawn is pretty low now with the change. But would Road to Oblivion 2 or 5 make a good alternative at say 135+? The spawn might be better there than at 4. I haven't really checked cause my Paladins charges aren't working yet but ill take a look when I can.
