I can't log in when I'm connected to my university's ethernet, I get stuck after hitting log on. It works perfectly fine however on my laptop when using wifi. I'm thinking the school ethernet might be IP banned.
I think you're probably right. You can post in the character issues section for a GM to look into it further but I expect it'll be a while before they do anything with it and if it is banned, they won't unban it so seems like you're stuck using your laptop wifi.
If the IP is banned, when you click on your character, client will shutdown itself. If you just get frozen and only disconnected - keep trying. We all have this problem for now. There is a chance 2/8, you will get in, just keep trying.
