Did some messing around at Road of Oblivion. 2-5 do indeed seem to work fine despite the lower spawn from before. However you really can't stay in one section of the map anymore, especially in O4.
You have to comb the area so a lot of walking around is needed and soon that one empty area will have monsters in it. I found O5 and O2 to the the best so far, but once the field boss spawn comes back youll have to take care of that baddie in O5.

Any new training locations for lv 85 - 105? I feel that during the latter half of the 3rd job, most of us are grinding at one place for more than 10 levels.

This contributes to crowding in certain maps (e.g. Gobies).

Depending on how powerful your character is I can't confirm the spawn of these locations but I'd check out Jr Wraiths, Chronos/Platoon Chronos, and maybe even Evil eyes?

Made a quick map of the path I take while grinding at O4 with the new spawn change.

The numbers are where you want to go in that order, the green one being the start point, orange lines are the drop downs and the light blue is where the wraps are.

At level 30 Teddies in Ludi is always a good choice and when you get to higher 30's Jr Wraiths is really nice. (I havent checked spawnrates since new scource though...)

If I were to train and not HP wash, I think finding a training buddy (even non priest w/o HS mule) will be very good, find someone who is also nostalgia and run around the entire maple world to explore and train. Back in 2007 GMS I remember being a level 5x i/l mage, just finished LPQing, and no other PQ was available (LMPQ&OPQ weren't out yet), and training felt like ages, but I was bored and I just walked through the entire ludi eos tower alone, down to omega, met a spearman, he was obviously from Brazil I believe, he couldn't speak english, I couldn't speak Portuguese nor Spanish, but we partied and pressed F2 for nearly 3 hours just running around killing UFOs and aliens, and we felt pro af when we find those elder aliens that can curse you and do the star fall aoe dmg thingy, was a really fun night, I buddied him, but because of time zone, we rarely ever meet up again, I got like 80% that night, back then for a 5x i/l mage other than FoG, getting 80% for 3~5 hours was really decent exp, but nonetheless, I couldn't replicate that feeling with anyone else again, I guess it was one of a kind experience, and those are the moments I'm nostalgic about maplestory.

Thought I would give more grind spots. This is mostly for specific classes.

Lv45-?: Gryphons at NLC. Gives about 704 exp, which is about 0.20% a kill. They fly around and the map is a little tricky to get the hang of but ranged classes and bandits will excel there, including mages.

Lv100-110: Blue Wyvern Nest. Around 9k a kill, the map is pretty easy to navigate and great for a duo. However this grind spot is mainly for White Knights and Fire Mages or even Rangers. They give over 9k exp a kill and are weak to fire so those classes will have a field day there.

I'll post more when I wander around a bit.

Ant Tunnel spawns increased quite significantly. I think it is a viable training spot for lv 25-35.
