Quest Bugs

Maybe the quest dialogue/information can be changed to say it drops from both Meerkat and Scorpion to prevent confusion. I assume it's more work to remove it as a drop from Scorpions anyways. (But there's still the issue of it dropping before starting the quest.)

 

Joining Zenumist - When you drop the bottle the broker gave you nothing happens, similar post has been made in 2015.
Welcome to NLC quiz - The quest description (Quest window), at least for Quiz #2 has a type saying the level for the quest is '100200'.

The first one is unrelated to the new source and the latter is unimportant in comparison to all the issues at hand, but I figured I might as well bring it up.

 

• Quest: Read the Newspaper!

• Details: After the NPC chat box shows the item I will receive (chat box not shown) an error appears
  

 

• Quest: The History of Zeta Leticulan
• Location: Omega Sector
• NPC: Black Mesoranger
• Details: In this quest you have to collect 4 skin cells. 1 from each: Barnard Gray, Zeta Gray, Ultra Gray & Chief Gray. Barnard Gray dropped his correct cell. Zeta Gray also dropped his correct cell. I haven't gotten Chief grays cell yet HOWEVER, Ultra gray is dropping Zeta Grays Cell....Ultra grays cell should be a tealish color according to the BBB Hidden street.

 

@Sila, in your list of things to check, the Note from Chief Gray, for the quest Eliminating Chief Gray, I was able to complete that. The notes DID drop. You just have to kill a bunch to get them.

• Details: I agreed to protect Oinkers and find the pheromones and reports, but when I click the "I would like to protect the watch hog option," I get the error "This NPC ran into an error...", as seen below.

• Details: When I accept the quest it shows a dialog with 'The quest has ended due to an unknown error.'

 

• Quest: Kenta's Advice
• Location: Aquarium : Zoo
• NPC: Kenta
• Details :
• - The quest doesn't show up for characters with royal points pets. only for normal pets bought in the cash shop.
• - upon completing the quest it's surposed to boost your pets speed. to match your characters speed. the quest gave the experience and closeness but didnt increase pets speed.
• - the items required to complete the quest drop even when not on the quest itself. theyr surpose to drop only when you have accepted the quest. but they are dropping even if you havent accepted the quest.

• Details: For this quest you need to get:
  10x Smiley Mask
  10x Neutral Mask
  10x Frowny Mask
  1x Whale's Helmet
  1x Knight's Mask
  1x Guardian's Horn
  Now i know that the bosses don't spawn yet, so the Whale's Helmet, Knight's Mask and Guardian's Horn aren't the problem, but i've been killing Memory Monk's for around 1hour now and i've seen 0 Smiley Masks.
  Maybe its a bug or maybe its just the drop rate that's really low, just letting everyone know that it's not worth your time atm.

• Details: Quest is working fine but doesn't show up in completed quests when finished, just immediately shows up in available again (it is repeatable but other repeatable quests still show up in completed)

 

• Quest: The Bottled-Up Letter

This one is in the master post but it worked for me, I already had the SOS Letter in my inventory when I started it though (which according to bbb is required to start it).

 

Quest - Finding Jack
Location: Crimsonwood mountain: Cavern of Pain
NPC: Jack
Details: the completion of the quest is suppose to reward 175k exp( before the 3.2x rate) but it only gives you the quest reward and no exp
as you can see in the screenshot there is no record of the exp reward, nor did i see my exp bar go up. (the 9.5k exp and 5 fame is from a previous quest)

 

Dropped the seed quest item on the rooftop and Gourd does not appear

 

Pretty sure you have to do a few of the other nlc quests before you can do the jack quests

 

Not sure if it's just something custom clients are programmed to do but quests that reward class specific equipment all seem to reward an all-class alternative as well.
For example:
Eliminating Plateon and Mecateon
Location: Omega Sector: Boswell Field IV
NPC: Green Mesoranger
Rewards a LVL40 glove of your class + a pair of work gloves.
Toy Soldier's Walnut
Location: Ludibrium: Eos Tower 100th Floor
NPC: Delv the Toy Soldier
Rewards LVL30 shoes of your class + a pair of blue sneakers

These extra all class rewards aren't listed in bbb but in the mapleroyals library they do say 'obtained from this quest'.

Quest: Operation Strategy 1: Collect all the eggs
Location: Ludibrium

• NPC: Ghosthunter Bob

• Details: This quest requires you to collect eggs from Tick-Tock and Chronos. No eggs are dropping from either mob.

 

Location: Ludas Lake

Quest: Mason the Collector II

NPC: Mason the Collector

Details: There seems to be an issue with Aurora Marble dropping while in a party. We tried for a good 15 minutes to get one in a party and nothing, but out of a party it was no problem.
