Following update #7 - Cold Beam started freezing opponents again (yay!) but sometimes it does not. Lots of details: I've been hanging in sector Omega. Mateons, Plateons and Barnard Gray are all monsters that are affected by the freezing effect. However while attacking, sometimes a monster will not freeze. When it happens, it will usually happen two-three times in a row. They take damage and die in a normal way, but they just don't freeze and counterattack right away.
Do you recall if you were the only player on the map when you were experiencing this issue? What type of monsters are you attacking? Ice Strike does not effect Ice based monsters and seems to work fine in my testing.
Yes, I was alone in those maps. I remember once or twice crossing a field with another player in it, but I do not recall if the freeze/not freezing was affected. I'll play tomorrow and try to pay attention.
