I've always been interested in hp washing a mage to 30k hp (don't ask me why), and I was wondering if it's even possible? Would it be the same as hp washing any other class to 30k hp, or would it be different because mages have such a high mp pool? I'm a noob when it comes to hp washing, so if anyone could guide me or point me in the right direction, that'd be fantastic . And a slightly similar question, is it possible to achieve 30k hp and 30k mp?! On any character?!
Lol hi LinD. The answer is yes, it's totally possible to get 30k/30k on any character, you just need to double wash. There are tons of detailed guides on the forums so just search for them. These are some rough calculations but it should give you an idea of how much it would cost for a mage. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/fully-revised-hp-washing-guide.8286/ Let's say your mage has 3k base hp by level 200. If you want to get to 30k then you need to wash 27k hp. Mages get an average of 8 hp per wash, so you would need 27000/8 = 3375 AP resets Next you need to worry about getting enough max MP in order to wash. Mages lose 90 MP per wash, so so you need around 3375*90 = 303750 MP (wow!) Let's say you wash at level 200, and you have 1000 int. Every 10 int you have you get 1 extra MP per AP assigned to it, so you would get 100 MP for every 1 AP you put in MP. So you need around 303750/100 = 3037 AP resets. So in total you need around 6400 AP resets, or approximately 64b
Sure, you can get a 30k hp mage. But, I think that you can't have a 30k hp and 30k mp character without hb. This is my bish and I started to wash when I have 200int (without equips) .
I washed my bish a couple times gaining 20 and 16 HP. I believe I lost under 40 MP for 1 wash. I don't know the specifics but those numbers aren't close to what I was getting before.
For mage, it seems like +10~20hp and -30mp after using an AP reset. Therefore, you can't have so many mp to do 3k times of washing.
So let's say I have 2k hp, and I want to wash to 30k hp. If the average hp gain per wash is +15, then 28,000/15 = 1867 ap resets (19bil)? 1867 x 30 = 56,010 MP needed to wash? Would I be using AP from leveling up and putting that into hp? Or would I be using my mains stat? The guide below has two methods for different classes, but it doesn't specify which to use for mages (probably because it's a ridiculous idea ). https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/
Oops my bad, looks like there are two methods of HP washing, method 1 from this guide would give 6-10 hp per wash, and method 2 from this guide would give 10-20 hp per wash: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/hp-washing-for-new-players.41129/ So OP if you want to HP wash make sure you go with method 2. (got the 6-10 and the 10-20 numbers from here: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/fully-revised-hp-washing-guide.8286/, though it might not be accurate since it also says -90 MP per wash I just followed the guide haha)
You should wash your mp first and then wash your hp. It's not worth of putting ap into hp after leveling up.
Level up with some number (multiple of 10 - it rounds DOWN) of Base int Put any number of your level up AP into MP. You will gain (class base) + (base int/10) MP for this. Use an AP reset to take that point out of MP and put it anywhere you like. You will lose (class washing cost) MP for this.* You have now generated extra MP. The process up to this point is called "MP washing" and can be used by mages that wish to hit max MP to better tank things with magic guard. Other classes can now use this bonus MP to perform additional HP washes - this is called "Double Washing" because you have performed both an MP wash, and then used that bonus MP to perform an HP wash. Is this the method you're talking about? If it is, I'm pretty confused on how many ap resets I would need in order to hit 30k hp, or if it's already too late for me ? I'm level 121 bishop with 1.8k hp/10k mp. Thanks Mushroom, and also thanks @Saesura , I'd quote both of you, but I don't know how .
Yes, but it's too late for you to do these steps. You should do these to make the sum of your hp and mp more rather than make only your hp more. btw, you need around 2600 AP resets to make a 30k hp mage.
I've made a spreadsheet in the past calculating just this. What i found out is that its possible to get 30k/30k aslong as you have decent int gear and mp wash from like lv10-200. I came up with an estimate of around 25~30b in total for the resets required. That is being a mage from level 8. I know theres a way of doing it, staying a beginner untill after 4th job, but i didnt calculate it since i didnt know the hp/mp gain rates of a beginmer
When lvling up, beginners gain 12-16 hp (average 14) and 10-12 mp (average 11). When putting in AP, beginners gain 8-12 hp (average 10) or 6-8 mp (Average 7). When taking out AP, beginners lose 12 hp or 8 mp. To survive the 45k hit from the CWK jump map
I think the answer is still Nope. I still need 6534hp to reach 30k. 6534hp equals to around 13k mp. I don't think that a Lv 3x magician can have so many mp.
But 30k hp is overkill, is it not? It's the same for a 30k hp shadower. No, it's even worse than 30k hp shad! IMO it's overkill and really isn't worth it, other than the reason of I-have-too-much-meso-and-I-have-no-idea-how-to-spend-it.
this is unrelated but is mp washing different in the new source? I heard it's TOTAL INT/10 per fresh AP now instead of BASE INT/10 per fresh AP.
I did that from 35 (or 36) to 200 with int gears. But, I sometimes forgot to find a leecher with mw20. I'm not sure to how many extra mana Improved MaxMP Increase will boost up after each Level UP, or AP used on MaxMP. Maybe you can prove if the beginner will be better than mage. XD
Well, looks like 30k hp is out of my reach. For now . Maybe in the future I'll attempt 30k hp with a Nightlord, which seems to be marginally cheaper (20bil for NL vs. 25bil for Mage).
