Queens is selling Zakum Helmets! Heres what you need to know:

These helmets are untradeable so for you to get one, you have to join us when we kill the zakum boss.

Unlike GMS, you do not need permission from your 3rd job instructor. So, go straight to Adobis in this map: http://bbb.hidden-street.net/map/mini-map/el-nath-the-door-to-zakum

Speak to Adobis and complete all 3 parts of the quest.

Part 2 is a two-part Jump Quest. If you have trouble, look up a video of someone doing it. Good Luck.

Part 3:

-Enough potions to survive (We would recommend a potion that heals you fully, or melting cheeses as they heal for 4000 HP. We would recommend bringing atleast 600 health potions)
-1 Eye of Fire (You get 5 of these upon completion of part 3 of the zakum prequests, so this shouldnt be an issue)

What to do before a zakum run begins:

Upon seeing a smega signalling that a Queens Zakum Run will start soon, contact the organizer of the run. (Usually illuminate or LuckyLook)

You will then be instructed to go to El Nath in a specific channel. Go there and wait for other members of the expedition to arrive. You will be placed in the appropriate party. While waiting, be sure to take off your pet's item pouch. This is very important.

We will door you to the map where you started your prequests. When this happens, enter the map and continue to be patient.

Eventually, you will be called inside (to the map directly before Zakum). Once inside, confirm once again that your pet loot is off and that you have autopot set and any other necessary preparations. If you need to relog/restart your computer, now is the last chance you have.

At some point, the organizer of the run will tell you to 'sign up'. What this means is you must speak with the NPC in the map and choose the option 'I want to join the fight'.

Then, when the expedition begins, you will be warped into the map where the Zakum boss is fought.

What to do during the zakum run:

After being warped in, stay at the bottom left corner of the map and keep yourself alive. This is your number 1 responsibility.

If you appear to have graphical issues at any time during the run, change your graphics settings. More on 'gfx' below.

If at some point you die during the run, do not click ok to be respawned back in town. It is more than likely that we have bishops available to resurrect you.

After Zakum is killed, a 2 minute timer appears. Pay close attention during this time. Until your name is called to pick up a helmet, stay against the left wall. If you loot anything you are not supposed to, or if you loot before you are called, you will be blacklisted and banned from all future Queens boss runs.

GFX:

Why do we need to GFX?
To minimize errors leading to disconnection, GFX is highly recommended. If you don't GFX, you are likely to experience Zakum disappearing or disconnection.

GFX is graphic changing. Throughout Zakum, members of Queens will yell out GFX. When we do, lower your graphic quality by 1 grade below. Start at the highest quality and work your way down. You are able to start at the lowest quality and work your way up, but the more gentle way is to GFX down. For fastest possible GFX: esc>down>down>enter>left>enter

*VIP Z-Helms*

For 200m, VIP - All you can loot Z-Helms.

• You're the only Z-Helm looter for 1 run.
• All Z-Helms are reserved for you.
• Great selection if you have enough funds to scroll your Z-Helm carelessly.
• Bring your own supplies of 30/60/70% xx amount of Helm Scrolls to the Zak Run.
• This deal only applies for Z-Helms.
• You have a 2 minute window (after zakum dies) to scroll as many as you can before the timer warps us out.
• For bad luck runs* If No Z-helms drop, no charge. If only 1 drops, pay 100m. [2+] Z-Helm Drops will be a charge of 200m regardless if you go through 1 Z-Helm or less/more.

Other Notes:

• All players are only able to attempt Zakum twice a day.
• Do not pester the organizers as to when they will hold a run. Our Zakum times are completely random. We do not organize scheduled runs.
• Best Zakum time with 1 party - 17 minutes.
• Best Zakum time with 2 parties - 14 minutes.
• We average 30 minutes in Zakum Runs.
• Please do not whisper us to ask when zakum is, wait for the smega.
• We will always smega before our Zakum run (Example: S>Z-Helms. Must have PreQuests done, Zak in xx Minutes.), so look out for those smegas.

I read this thread around 2x and wanted to confirm something. We pay 125m and the eof, what drops do we get other than the zakum helmet, all dropped books or do you get them?

 

You pay 125m for the zakum helmet. That's it.
You only pay an EoF for a skillbook like TT10 or ACA10. Nothing more.

 

so, do we have an option of not paying the EoF for the skillbooks? Since we only pay an EoF for the listed skillbooks you have there

 

You don't pay the EOF unless you loot a skillbook.

 

Skill books aca10, tt10, acb10, ar10 are the only options you can choose for an eye of fire. Other skill books such as Lvl 20 books are reserved for lvl 135+ Attackers/120+ Bishops who put in work.

 

The lvl 20 books are actually masterybooks, so they don't fall under this catagory anyway

What are the requirements, DPS wise, for joining the attacker force?

 

We don't usually accept anyone outside of the guild, since most of the time our guild alone is enough to take down zak. Attackers are mainly lvl 135+. If we lack in attackers or bishops, I would go to my buddylist.
