im not very up to date on all theese updates and w/e, but from my understanding ToT is getting elemental weaknes, so is archmages (F/P > I/L > Bishop). wich means oblivion is gonna be weak against ice and qualm against fire. So alot of people seem to thinkthat I/L will dominate cuz oblivion road is gonna be the best exp. however... will they be able to hit 115-135k so they can oneshot on oblivion road, or is F/P gonna dominate because they can with no problem oneshot every mob on the qualm road? because 1shotting cheif qualm guardian or w/e must shurely be better exp that 2-shotting any oblivion mob.

Maybe im retarded idk, what do u guys thing?

Also, new training grounds seem to have changed, any tips for priest/bishop(lv 90-200) Solo and/or duo?

My very unfunded Lv 169 F/P can easily hit in the 140k dmg range at Road of Regrets. I'd imagine with average funding and even with the 20 less attack on Blizzard, an I/L 1 shotting Oblivion is very doable. I don't think this necessarily places I/L on a different level of superiority compared to F/P considering how much the spawn has dropped in the ToT areas and the lack of drops in Oblivion. That's still an option and new reason to choose I/L, but F/P's significant buff seems to overpower that IMO, especially with gobies spawn dropping which was difficult to 1 shot for lower leveled F/Ps (one of their only problems in old source). At endgame, it all comes together though, and that is one advantage I/L has over F/P, but most mages are after drops and EXP is just a nice byproduct, so it's not anything too significant.

As for drops, ror beats ob. Ror 4 drops craven, bow att 60%, ear int 10%, spear for att 60%, and lvl 90 claw (max att 52). Ror 3 drops ear int 10%, spear for att 60%. Ear for Dex 60% is dropped in ror 1 or 2. Ob drops pinaka, wand 60% and mithril, or maybe something I didn't notice.

Drop rate of craven at ror 4 is about 10-15 per bag (100 slots) in old source.
    I got 23 cravens/4.5 bags (30 min/bag) at ulu 1, about 5.3 craven per 100 equips. Testing ulu 2. I got 9 craven/bag in 40 min just now.

    -----
Fp is actually not buffed at tot cuz in old source, ror is weak against fire.

I was talking about the jump from 570 to 620 DMG on Meteor when I said "F/P's significant buff".

I don't mean to dispute anyone. Totte talked about weakness at tot, which is what I meant to talk about.

    I/L Pros
    Easier 2nd job
Blizzard will freeze any monsters you can't 1hit
    I/L Cons
    Slightly less powerful ultimate
Elewand 7 is rarer (especially well scrolled)
    Ifrit 30 is GPQ only
Road of Regrets mobs are ice strong

    F/P Pros
    Easier 3rd job
    Highest attack ultimate
    Common elewand
Highest single target dps out of all mages
    F/P Cons
Can't farm charms/rags with their summon (both ice immune)
Road to Oblivion mobs are fire strong
    50% damage reduction underwater

Both should be easily able to 1hit ulu2 mobs at lvl130 with trash equips.
