Why has every server suck

Mapleroyals was the only reliable server. Now it's come to COMPLETE TRASH. SHOULDVE NEVER UPDATED THE SERVER HAHAHA. All private servers have gone to trash with trash admins

Hey buddy you haven't noticed ? The entire server is completely ruined. Went from 700-1,400 players daily to a merely 50-100. Like I said this was the only reliable server to me and it's a shame to see it fall like the rest.

Turns out hiring a full team of professional devs is very expensive and not worth it for the small amount of money in it, there's your real answer

 

Who hired a team of devs? As far as I know we have one dev.

 

I know there's only one dev. The point was that, it's expected that work would be done at this pace when you have just one volunteer dev.

 

Now we know why it's been 2 and a half months and I still can't leave the FM. ONY ONE DEVELOPER. HMU IN 2018 WHEN THE SERVER IS FIXED FROM 1 PERSON

 

Y'all losing donation money. Next time keep the server up so you guys can maintain a stable income

Someone please tell me what good does bitching and complaining about the server do for anyone? Is it the fact that complaining helps people feel better? If thats so, can we make one thread and have it designated as the thread to go and post complaints?

Otherwise What does this thread or any other one like it provide towards getting any of the still broken features done?

It does absolutely nothing except create a bigger rift between the community IMHO.

Id prefer if threads like this were locked or deleted since its just pointless complaints and adds nothing to getting the server back online quicker.

I love this server and i have blood sweat and tears here. I get that alot of people quit but honestly the people who play old school maple are people who've quit maple multiple times in the past and come back. It'll revive when it finishes getting basic functionality back. I just wish i wasn't in NLC gaching b4 they up and offed the source because i can't get out. At least on a skele map i could have trained till i ran out of pots.

But whatever, i'm still voting and keeping this up there and apart from stockpiling nx the other thing is giving this server a lifeline which we all need and want if we want this working someday with a community again. No doubt a shit move, especially since it was during the christmas break when they chose to do this but meh.

I'm pretty happy on reboot on gms right now since there's so much new content there and i'll wait till it fixes itself one day.

P.S. does any1 know what happened to fm and the cs? I can't access either and all npc's aren't talking to me.

 

Bitching and complaining ? I'm sorry maybe you don't live in America where we have freedom of speech. This is my opinion. I did speak badly of the server but I also mentioned that they were once THE MOST RELIABLE SERVER. This thread isn't to complain but to show MapleRoyals that they've lost players , lost people , and lost the hopes of some of us coming back. ive quit and come back to servers plenty of times. That's the part of the old school maple that I love but the fact that this server doesn't look like it's coming up at all makes most of us frustrated. Maybe making these threads will convince the staff to I don't know HIRE MORE DEVELOPERS ???? I mean you can't possibly believe one developer can handle the weight of the whole server.

 

The server is already leagues ahead of the old source. Be patient, pretty much all that's missing is the CS, scrolling, and the FM stores. Most everything else is working perfectly. The server is much more stable. Go level up if you're bored or something, it's working.
