Issue 1: my roommate and I are playing under the same wifi (we have our own account), is that alright?

Issue 2: I'll be going back home for summer vacation for 2-3 months, (different country). from 1/7- 17/9

what should i do to prevent being mistakenly banned for account sharing?

    thanks <3

I dont see how you can be banned for account sharing unless you log into his account. Me and my boyfriend play from the same place all the time and we have never been mistakenly banned for account sharing. Just do not go on to your roomates account and youll be all good.:)

I've been wondering myself how GM's would make the distinction between seeing my friend log onto his account on MY pc (Legal), and me for example logging onto his account (the illegal account share).

 I've been playing and voting on 3 computers for several months without issue.

I think it would only be an issue if they see you logged in from one place, then instantly logged in from somewhere else 5000 miles away--proving that it isn't you.

the server also grabs your HDID's that is a unique identifier from your hard disk drive. thus making each PC unique.

They wouldn't see the difference I guess. I'm waiting for a GM to come in and confirm all of this xD I don't want to get banned wrongfully

If both would be logged in at the same time, that would be a reason to ban. Just one would not be any evidence to sharing, as logging in from different places is allowed.

Correct. We have logs of every login done by anyone, therefore we're able to see if anything fishy is going on.

Shouldn't be a problem. Once again would only be if both accounts are logged in from the same computer at the same time.

    Hope this clears things up!
