I'm calling all Arch Mages and Bishops on MapleRoyals to come forth! It's time to take on the all mighty Zakum. So here's the deal. Jack and I hope to host an all mage Zakum run! With the recent windows zakum fix(?), we have decided to plan this run. Hopefully it will be a fun, non-dc event. Jack will be recording. We welcome anyone else to Fraps the run, incase of a dc. I don't expect you to Fraps every little detail, but it would be cool to have like a video of us at arms or something. And possibly a bunch of screen shots! 14th of June, Saturday at 10pm BST. (server time) Recommended: - Bring a bunch of Ginger Ales / Ginsengs. I'd say 1,500-3,000 Gingers should do it. - Come on Windows. Mages have the most laggy skills in the game, and I can guarantee MAC citizens will not survive. - I'd suggest being over 130, however - it is not required. This is open to ALL Mages. However, being 130+ gives you an advantage, because someone who IS 130+ will be taken before someone who is, say level 90. (We can't roll with too many people so there might be cut offs depending on the popularity). Spoiler: Magic Attack potions What I ask of you: - Have your pet loots OFF. - Be prepared for a long run. Expect the run to last over an hour. - When Zakum spawns, please wait a few seconds before attacking. - Take Poison Mist off of your keyboard. (For F/P Mages). - Be ready to run fifteen minutes before the run! - When zakum dies, HUG THE WALL!!!! Seriously, show that wall some love. Splits: This run has been planned as a friendly run, so there hasn't really been a plan for the drops. So helms will go to the mages that want a reloot/helm.
