Hey guys! Before anything I would like to say that this thread is merely for information and research of the actual position of the players. I am not trying to hate and be like "bring the old sauce, u killing the server bla bla bla....", just thanks to the staff for their hard work and such. Personally I think after the cash shop is running all other fixes will go faster and smoother and there will be more frecuent updates. Also I agree there should be more transparency I would myself consider donating if the server come to a bad path (me and more players probably will consider this option). Let's the poll begin!
We're 2 1/2 months into this extremely painful transition, and after everything that has happend, there is absolutely zero chance Matt will roll the server back to old source. So your poll is completely pointless. If your poll was one of "if you knew a year ago what we know now about what the transition to new source entailed would you still want it yes/no" you'd have a poll that hasnt been made atleast a dozen times so far. In regards to transparency i dont think thats been an issue what so ever. The staff was very open and transparent for the first few months with what info they had but as time went on, and as Matt/Kevin ran into more problems players were getting more and more upset at what was being discussed would wind up not actually being fixed at the time. So they have been alittle more hesitant to state anything as to not give the players any false assumptions. Since then, while the updates have been more sparse, the information in their updates have been all that we need to know. Edit: My bad 2 1/2 months.
Can you read? Nobody's saying that they need to get the old source back (not me at least). Just wanted to know what's players situation and motivations. edit: but yea you're right I should've formulated the question differently.
73 days. Exactly 1/5 of a year. I don't know where people are getting some of the numbers they have...
I noticed that as well. I've seen people say it's been 3 months @ the 1st of march and stuff like that.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I am certain none of the MR staff wanted a rough patch to new source. I for one know nothing about coding. Therefore, I won't comment on what should've been done. It's pointless to bicker over the past. Karven has rolled out tremendous amount of fixes over the past few months. He is working alone. Therefore, the rate at which the server rolls out major patches is not comparable to other games with a team of dedicated developers.
