SO basically I have done the third job advancement a number of times before without a problem. This time after taking the Necklace of Strength back to Elnath to the third job instructor it says I lost the item when I talked to her. Then I go back to Grendel The Really Old in Ellina and he say Oh no, you lost it here is another one basically, but then he says I do not have room in my ETC for it. I have tried changign channels using potions, logging on and logging off and it is still glitching. Could this please be fixed for me ? I obviously have room in my ETC too. Thank you, Luke
Hey, thanks for replying, kind of really worried about this . I am in class right now so cannot check; however, if nothing was done to fix the problem, than I will still be having it. Unless you or someone were able to try to fix the problem for me without letting me know. I will check again in a bit, and travel back from Elnath to Ellina to see if Grendel will give me the necklace without the glitch, Have a nice day, any help in this matter is greatly appreciated. I have just tried again. It is still glitching, saying I do not have room. PLEASE someone help me with this as I do not want to continuing character progression without being able to do this job advancement. Luke
Perhaps the glitch started at the third jon instructor as when I brought the necklace of str to her I lost it there instead of being able to do the next part of the quest.
The staff does care, but a issue like this requires admin help and the admins are extremely busy with new source and other matters @Bardledoo few things I want to check. Are you sure you did the quest correctly? Are you sure you aren't missing anything? Are you sure you have enough space? I'm not calling you stupid, but a lot of times when people are saying glitches are happening, it's because of overlooked details. If what you are saying is correct @Matt @John @Dimitri might need to help you.
I have done the quest correct. I have space. I know you are not calling me stupid too btw ahah. I have done this quest many times on different servers over the years as well once on this one with my level 116 I/L Mage. It is a bug. I do need admin help for this, and thank you for your reply. Luke
I tagged the admins in my other post, so they know you need help. All you need to do now is be patient and wait.
Thanks for the report. We have located and fixed an issue which caused the quest to fail when using 'end chat' or the 'esc' key on a certain window rather than pressing 'next'. This seems like it would have caused the problem you are experiencing, and should be fixed if you try again now.
