Well, this post it`s going to be intense. First of all, in the name of the guys who really love this game and the community of it, Thank you. Not much of us know the real struggle of coding, im counting myself because i study Public Relationships and it has nothing to do with the theme. But i do know something, love is love and it doesnt matter how its presented. You guys love this game just as much as us, and even not making any funding of it, u guys still working. (Yeah, people donates. but the sv host its a thing). So i wanted to say thank you, and i really would like Karven to read this: Men, you are awsome in the whole aspect. Making a code by scratch all by urself. Real talk, thats some dedication. I pray for mercy for the ones who say "GG Server dead" and such, its just frustation. Even i had said that. But after i think about it for a minute and i relax i think im wrong and that i forget that u guys are humans too and have feelings aswell. Dont let anyone bring u down, we can see the progress. Skills are working bit for bit, potions, not as much DC as before, theres things left, of course, but u guys are doing some job for it and we aprecciate it. Karven, ur some next lvl thing bro. (Excuse my english)
Ok so don't get me wrong, working on a new source is an admirable thing. But why has the server that was actually functional been replaced by a beta server, instead of keeping the old one running untill this one is somewhere around fully functional?
The expectation was that moving over from the old source to the new source would be smooth, but unfortunately it was nothing but and the issues that occurred, they were never expecting.
When the new source will be finished (and it will be almost finished with the next update) it is going to be the best private server in all times. It is going to be one of a kind. It already is actually. Other servers are either post BB with avans and erans crap, p2w, VERY inactive or even more buggy than Royals ever was. There is no competition.
we have an average of 500 votes a day with a server you cant create new accounts on.So the population should skyrocket once it opens.
Hard to say though... even back then during old source, the highest spot was 2nd.. never once hit first, unless for the first few days after reset.
the point of the new source was to make the server more stable because to many players were online, but now all the players are gone so it was pointless ;(
It was to fix certain bugs that were causing a not as good experience as Royals should be. For example, Alt+down= GG. 2 persons hitting 1 box: GG. and i can keep going... i have complete faith, this will be a real challenge now and i hope the sv gets at least 2000+ players at peak hours.
New players usually try the top5 or 10 servers. Royals lost major percentage of playerbase, but its playerbase foundation is still strong. I have tried other servers which are more stable and functional than Royals, despite their growing database, they will unlikely beat royals in gtop ranking. The moment the staff fixed the feature where you have to complete the gtop voting to gain NX, Royals gtop100 ranking suddenly spiked up. It shows that lots of us actually haven't given up on Royals. It is unlikely Royals will fall because it has already secured its playerbase foundation, just like "the rich gets richer"
To those who are working hard on giving us a nostalgic Maplestory server, just know your hard work is bringing joy to thousands of people. Not many can say they have pulled off a feat like that in their lives. Keep it up!
