I've got a small request for the server. We all know sometimes, they DID stack, and sometimes (like now) they don't. I want to make the suggestion to just keep them stackable. Why? There are people who do have large stacks now, that'd be an unfair advantage. But because I don't want to be the badguy to ruin it for half of the server, don't remove them for others; add the option to stack so the people who don't have these large stacks can get them. I believe ciders still aren't working correctly in duration. IIRC, they are for 3minutes instead of 5; which effectively for 30 minutes of cider, you'd need to take up 4 more USE-slots. Counter the time duration 'bug' with stackable ciders, noone would care. I know they stacked to the point of 2,5k+ at one point. I don't think that's a nice bundle though, it's way too big. I'd suggest ciders stacking a regular 100 bundle. Hope to see if people agree, as I for one think it's unfair to me since I don't have the cider stack, and see people with 1k+ ciders at the moment, having no worries about itemslots.
They aren't suppose to stack, so I vote no. The whole point of ciders is that they give a pretty huge attack boost, since they DONT stack.
Just wipe all the ciders from peoples inventory than. They're like 1k you arent breaking the bank to buy a cider.
The problem is that this is a recurring issue that happens rather frequently. Wiping people's inventories of ciders once a month isn't exactly polite.
The only place I knew to get ciders from was from that short guy in crimsonwood forest after you completed Taggrin's quest. That quest isn't working, so I have no idea how people are getting ciders in the first place. I will form an opinion once I figure out where they come from on Royals. Can anyone fill me in? EDIT: My view kinda depends on whether you obtaining ciders is by chance and or nx based(like gach)(and the amount of chance for that matter), or if it's infinitely supplied through an NPC or something.
So you can buy them infinitely from an NPC? If so, I say no, because like @maggles said I think they were designed in the game to be that way so there were trade offs to using it as compared to weaker potions that could stack. I feel like it would be an easy fix to just wipe and make them not stackable since it was already done with those recent event items.
Voted no because they can be bought at an NPC. Not sure what should be done about those who currently have stacked ciders.
Can someone explain to me what the issue is with stacked ciders? If they stack isn't that a space saver lol? Won't it save us time as well than repoting every time for ciders while training.
The thing is, the fact that they do not stack is a part of the game. What I mean by that is they are meant to be annoying to carry around. That's the trade off of the item's attack boost being so high. If they were stackable, everyone would just use them all the time and it would render other attack boosters (like warrior's potion for example) useless. However insignificant it may seem, if you make em stack, you take away from the difficulty of the game. -- Also, what?
