Does Pianus even spawn?

I can't believe I haven't found even one. I know the spawn timer is large, but you'd think eventually you'd run into one right?

Can anyone confirm killing a pianus in new source recently?

 

I've been sat in the pianus map for hours on multiple days and it never showed up. Everyone that came in while I was waiting said they hadn't seen one either.

I went to pianus multiple times and never saw 1

 

Hah I knew I wasn't the only one checking for it

 

Pianus and Jr Balrog are glitched, likely because of the fact no other mobs spawn in that room.

 

There are these bomb mobs in pianus though (or maybe pianus himself spawns them? I'm not sure)

 

Pianus does spawn them, when the Pianus isn't spawned the room is empty of mobs.

 

I spent a few days killing gobies, checked for Pianus probably 15 times at all times of day, all channels, never found one. If someone saw the exploding things that means Pianus did spawn at some point though. Maybe someone is farming it? Seems unlikely, with how easy it is to find a bigfoot.

 

It doesn't spawn.
