Afaik, most bosses have a flat spawn timer, right? For example, Black Crow spawns every 12 hours. I haven't seen any mention of this being changed. Would it be such a bad idea to give all bosses random timers similar to hh and bf? Like instead of Black Crow spawning every 12 hours, maybe make it spawn anywhere between 10-14 hours. I think this could prevent people from hogging certain bosses.
Although this sounds good, but it's how the original version should be. Some has fixed timer, some has random. Mixed feelings.
I understand that some people want this server to be as close to the original as possible (excluding rates), but I doubt random timers would take any nostalgic value away.
No, all bosses that spawn already currently have some randomisation to the spawn times like you have suggested.
Oh, nice! Thanks for clearing that up. I don't actually hunt any of those end game bosses right now, so I wouldn't have noticed. I've just been sitting on the idea for a while and finally decided to post it.
