Item absorbed by server. quest incomplete?

I was doing Lita Lawless's 'Fool's Gold' quest. After finish collecting 30 Lucky Charms I clicked on the NPC to complete my quest but the quest is still in progress and my Lucky Charms are gone. Any advice or help, seniors? IGN: clkyyy

 

Just tested the quest and it works as expected. Please note you can repeat the quest as well. That's probably what happened though.

 

so what do i do now? just proceed to the other quests? i dont have to redo the Fool's Gold quest?

 

Yea sure. Fool's Gold quest is repeatable. If you see what the NPC says as illustrated, then you're good to go.
