so i was wandering around phantom forest and killing some HH and saw some guys doing bigfoot. i noticed it is not the bigfoot i remember(i guess i came a little after they changed bigfoot in gms) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8RxZIdNUEc this is the bigfoot i remember that hopped around all the time and u could hit repeatedly with a fast 4 weapon if u pinned correctly. are there plans to update bigfoot or is it going to stay as the 2 sec delay type thing? asking mainly because this will change my weapon choice for endgame
lol thanks buddy. i played mostly pre big bang and bigfoot was like i posted in the video. i guess i started playing a few months after they changed bigfoot from our version. big bang dropped in dec 2010, this vid is from july 2010 heres another example from 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv55Mk_TAgU one more for good measure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Np7z5dZ2MVY edit: so after further research it seems they patched bigfoot in late 2008 due to a glitch with using poison and shadow web on bigfoot
From what I remember, Bigfoot was changed for the people who play v75 servers, at this time it still had the broken frames. As for your end-game weapon, what a lot of people did back in this day was have two weapons; an end-game weapon for total DPS everywhere else, and one with the right speed to easily pin Bigfoot that doesn't have to be as good. I recall in GMS, DrKs would have a decently scrolled Maple Impaler and it'd actually go faster than their normal weapon because of not missing frames. More experienced Warriors might be able to tell you better than I would though, since I never was that strong on GMS!
As far as I know, there's only one speed for each type of attack that can pin by holding the key. For example, Heroes using a normal(6) weapon with no booster can pin by holding Brandish. I have no experience with faster weapons like Red Katana at BF, but I haven't heard of any successes. I will say though, needing to pause in between attacks is really not that hard, and has probably prevented me from falling asleep at my keyboard holding Blast.
