Hello my dear Royalers, As many people might have known, the scroll price is exploding!!! I am just wondering if it would get back to the good old 300m days in the future?? anyone knows can share?? I know that chaos and ws was 500m once but that was like in the stone age is the drop rate really that bad nowadays???? Thank you for contributing to this economy just by being here!!!
I cashed all my ws at 340-370m Did some arbitrage by buying cs at 310-350m, exchanging 3 cs for 4 ws, and selling the ws. I think ws will be back to 300m, but cs is probably staying at around 350m+ for a long time when char creation and shops are back for multiple reasons
The problem seems to be mainly due to registration being closed and lesser invested players having quit during the new source. The ratio of people who used ws/cs vs people who didn't was something like 1:100 in the old source, but now it's more like 1:15 since we haven't had any noobs coming in for 5 months. New players are always looking to sell their ws/cs asap so they add to the supply of them but they do not add to the demand since new players cant afford to use ws/cs. Until registration is back, ws/cs prices will likely continue to go up, and they will likely gradually fall back into place once registration is back up
the price turns out to be going up cuz of the broken server when ppl are analyzing, they are thinking "ceteris paribus" When gachapon became available, the price of ws did drop a lot, considering the tax is 6%. Before new source, ppl sell ws 300-310, and the tax of hired merchant is 2%. ppl actually get 294-304m. After gachapon was available, the price dropped to 280m and even 250m. ppl actually get 262m and even 235m. If hired merchant is available, the price would be 267m and even 240m.
And it did plummet. If there was no limit on gacha tickets and mule creation+stores would be available all that time, it would probably continue to drop until like 210-200. The only reason it's rising now (especially cs) is mainly because: 1) Limited supply due to various reasons such as - no new players, no mule creation (less people gach in shrine cuz it's a pain in the ass to sort/sell all these scrolls without mules), no stores (like I've said, harder to sell the scrolls). 2) Psychological factor. People had 700-1300 tickets in average. Nobody normally would bother with small returns in shrine, they want "to score big" since the chance to do so is higher with this amount of tickets. They want the 60/13 sleeve or 9 att pgc. So they go to Kerning (only to get 2-3 att pgc and melting cheese at best) and blow most of their tickets there. 3) Many people have quit. Now there is 400-300 players at best, compared to 1000+ before the new source. 4) Most people who gach now can afford to use their cs, at least a couple of times to test their luck. They are not complete newbies who have just joined the server and scored a cs and want to sell it asap to get their basic gear. They already have it. And again, we want to score big so we try our luck a couple of times and end up with 0 att pgc such as I did. Combine all that and you get a huge rise in prices. Under normal conditions however (if there was no new source and ONLY gacha and cash shop would be disabled) the price would drop harder than you think. WS wasn't affected that much like CS mainly because of the reasons I've mentioned. You can't just use one ws and make a profit - you need a few of those and not many can afford to do so. It's also less "annoying" to gach in NLC rather than shrine - even though the Shrine gach is the best in the game in the long run. That's why cs is almost 500m and ws is 360m at best. Hope I made it clear
Yeaaa, I was one of the ones that thought it was going to drop. At the time no one was thinking about the factor of registration being closed. Well on the flip side no one thought it was going to go up in price either so in a sense everyone was wrong
