Hello! So recently I've been hearing more and more people planning to create a Buccaneer once character creation opens. What are the aspects and things about Buccaneer that makes it so appealing to many people? I'm genuinely curious!
They also seem pretty fun to play now that a lot of their skills are fixed. There's quite a dramatic difference compared to how they used to work in the old source what with energy charge and transformation working properly.
I was enticed enough to return and reset the base INT on the Bucc I leeched/MP washed last year prior to new source. Now I just need to make it through a zak run without DC to loot a helm so I can gear it!
"Buccaneers have a wide variety of skills at their disposal. unlike other jobs that spam 1 skill repeatedly, a buccaneer must adapt to what he or she is fighting and figure out the optimal skill rotation." @Goofy One of the main reasons I main the Buccaneer class is the flashy moveset, the invincibility frames (being able to avoid damage) & the two very useful party buffs you have (Speed infusion & Timeleap) I'd say the pros of this class far outweigh the cons, cheap endgame gear & scrolls the mobbing skills are great, potion usage is lovely along with Easy hp washing and most if not all the time youll be the only bucc on a boss run (unique) Also you have a great & colorful guide made on the forums by the one & only! @Buccaneer https://royals.ms/forum/threads/the-beast-buccaneer-guide-new-source-build-updated.62268/ Thanks for the tag fam! @GodlyBread
I have little to no idea about buccaneers, or any class for that matter...but I wanna make a buccaneer now...
I like buccs cuz you get powerful mob control skills as early as 2nd job (even temporary stun lol, but stun is buggy now) and with practice, you can avoid most of the damage with IFrames. One downside tho is the skill delays, it gets annoying sometimes lol
Bucc is definitely not boring I can promise you that, but the DPS is relatively low to other classes. More like blizcrank in league lol. DPS/support
