Some people may say the same about White Scrolls from NLC, but after having spoken to many others, there definitely seems to be some sort of nerf to shrine. Chaos Scroll prices have always been similar to the prices of White Scrolls, e.g. people would smega "T> WS + 15m for CS" all the time in the old source, whereas now the gap between the two is getting wider everyday. Idk whether the addition of forging etc to shrine's prize pool has anything to do with this - but it's no coincidence that something is fked up when so many players gach hundreds of tickets there and come up empty handed.
At least in shrine if you don't hit the "jackpot", you get tons of good and useful scrolls - including magic att and int ones and more. If you don't hit the jackpot in NLC on other hand, you get 10% overall def, Black paint brush and useless garbage. The only good things there are ST and ele wands, and only if they are perfect or have really godly stats. If not, they are meh.
On the other hand I always liked Sleepywood and Showa gach. They're unloved, but they're both useful. You can get pretty decent scrolls, racoon masks from Sleepywood, both can give Maple Leaves which are a useful face accessory. Showa gives useful shield magic att 60% scrolls, can hit pretty big with sky ski if you get a good one.. There's no real jackpot item like WS/CS/Taru totems but overall its a stable gach.
Shrine has never disappointed me even if I don't get a chaos, it's still the most consistent place to gach. It's literally a free ~120m per 4 days if you are good about voting. I also got only 1 chaos out of ~400k NX I spent there but that's just RNG for ya.

Could you list what u got from the run except for chaos scroll? or the total profit of it counting with the old source price.
I've mmm... used probably around 550-700 Gach tickets and got 2 cs. Maybe you really are just super unlucky. And so I'm sorry to hear that. But here, I'll let you in on a secret. You, and many others (as DzKnight said) aren't lucky because the RNG isn't favoring you right? Well... I can't say this is 100% foolproof, but try saying: "Praise be to TimK." before you Gach. See if that helps! It did for me. 10/10 would recommend strategy.
Well, maybe it is 6 or something. I've lost count, seriously. Because I gached when the gach limit was still there. I bought a 3 atk cape from xanark, turned out to be 0 atk, showed it to him for the lulz. I also posted here my GODLY 0 atk fs and pgc I've made, and there is a post of me selling 2 cs I opened a couple of weeks ago. I also sold one or two in the fm with my mules a couple of weeks ago. People just get lucky, there is no need to be salty. Yesteday I saw this tupac1994 guy who got tons of ws from nlc, much more than 7. There were over 9000 salty ass people blaming him for hacking lmao
7 months have passed since i won a ws or cs and everytime i'd do a gach run, i just see others in a different channel winning a streak of 3 or more cs or ws. Fml
