Are any of the equipment from the anniversary candle exchange good or end-game worthy? Which equips should I look out for as a Dragon Knight? (Or should I just sell the candles if I'm just starting out)
Equips are good ,but most of them are untradeable. I prefer to spend candles on tradeable chairs since it's not only a good collection but also can be sold for mesos. (But unfortunately there's only one chair which is tradeable, so i might spend some candles on weapons and scarfs,too)
When I was first new and the anniversary event came out, I just sold candles. The earrings aren't that great for new players, the scarf is only worth chaosing if you can go without your secondary stat in end game (and that becomes expensive as well). Comes down to a choice whether you want to save up for chairs or if you'd rather just make money off it to start yourself off.
You mentioned that the earrings were mediocre for new players. Does that mean they're viable later on when I have more mesos to work with? Thanks for the replies btw!
I think most people end up chaosing or 30%ing the earrings to try and get higher than >12 dex/str. They're more so for end game finalizing gear I think.
Agree! I am planning on getting 5 earrings per char and chaos, if I get a +5 i will finsih them with 10%+WS
However! I would recommend saving as much sunshine as you can and entering the Maple Hill every time you can catch it go off. it takes 200 sunshine to enter. Also participate in the cake Boss every time you can - it spawns every 4 hours.
Currently, scarf is potential best end game pendant for attackers if you can chaos and get +5 weapon attack. As well as if you are able to go without your secondary stat without needing pendant. Same could be said for pilgrim hat- only worth using if you chaos it, get +5 attack, and don't need the extra dex/str from zhelm for your gear.
