Closed No Character Above Level 15 [Can't Vote]

IGN: Higashikatas

As it says in the title, I get the "no character above level 15" message every time I have attempted to vote. I came from another private server which as of yesterday I had voted for in the last 24 hours, but today I know for a fact it's been about 36 hours since I've touched a vote button (aside from the one on the MapleRoyals site, which will not work for me.) I've tried using both username and IGN, and nothing is working.

Help please?

 

Literally what the error says: You don't have a character that is at least level 15 on the account you're attempting to vote on.

 

Okay, okay I forgot to say the most obvious part, but I do. I have a level 33 cleric.



That one is on me, but that actually isn't the problem I don't believe, unless there's some sort of delay/waiting period.

 

When voting you're using your username right? I know you said so above but I can't think of any other reason why that error would come up.

 

Every time I make any attempts I do both (User and IGN), twice (logged on, and then logged off), just to make sure.

 

This has me stumped so I'll try to pass it along to an admin to check what's going on.

 

Ditto. The only thing I could imagine is that my math skills are once again failing me and it's only been like 23 hrs and 59 minutes since I voted, or something. (But then wouldn't the error message be about the time, not character level? Does the fact that it was a different server I voted for have anything to do with it?)

Any updates? This is now day 3 that I cannot vote.

 

Are you using your log in ID to vote? You are supposed to use it instead of your in game ign which is different. I have voted an hr ago without any problem. Also gtop only lets you vote for one server every 24 hrs so if you voted for another server you must be on Cd

 

There's no vote record for your account or your IP address at all, and I've heard of this issue happen before, the only way it would happen is if you aren't using your account ID.

 

I took someone's advice and levelled a second character to level 5, and it worked?

I don't really know what was going on but it's working now, so I won't question it.
