Current prize pot: 0 mesos Hey everyone! This is a weekly lottery, organised by me, Marty, for the MapleRoyals community. Always wanted to gamble a bit with your mesos? Well, this is your chance, then! Combined with regular community events, this will add a bit of extra fun to the current event spectrum! The concept of this lottery is as followed: You can buy entries for 1,000,000 mesos per entry. You can buy up to 20 entries. The amount of entries doesn't give you a higher chance to win: Everyone has the same odds, no matter how many entries! The more entries, the more you will win, obviously. I will take 20% from all entries, leaving them at 800,000 mesos per entry, not for myself, but for the community events I will host with them. The drawing is every Saturday, 11:00 PM Server Time. A couple of rules you have to follow: Code: 1. If you don't pay before the drawing, your entries will be nullified. 2. Attempting to alter the outcome of the drawing in any way will lead to you being disqualified from all future Weekly Lotteries. 3. Trading, buying or selling entries with/to someone else is forbidden. Unlike other lotteries, there won't be a single winner to take all the money. A set amount of winners is determined, based on the amount of entries, every week, which I will explain at the end (in the spoiler). The exact amount you win will also be explained below. If you win, you will always get your entry money back! I will keep track of all entries in a public spreadsheet, which you can find here. Once you have paid for your entry, you will receive your entry number (between 1 and 100,000). This is public so that everyone can see there's no shady business going on and everything is going 100% fair for everyone! I would also like to stress that this is not a money-making endeavour. At the drawing, a random number between 1 and 100,000 will be generated, and those closest to it will win. The numbers will all be generated with a function of Google Drive (spreadsheets) (=RANDBETWEEN(1; 100000) ; this generates a number every time a field is edited or the page is reloaded. The number generated by entering the participant's name will be their entry #!). All winners get their entry money back (-20% provisions for community events). The rest of the pot is divided based on the place and the amount of entries of a participant, represented by shares. The number generated by entering the name of the participant is the entry number!

I do recall on some other private server there was a lottery system, and every friday there was a winner. It was a pretty busy server too so the winner got like 300m everytime. -- I'll buy 10 tickets by the way Marty.
