Quest Bugs

I have the same issue but i suspect this is due to the fact that i own a hog which i purchased previously before the patch updates. Without this quest, Silver Mane can't be obtained, please look into it thanks! If need be, a mesos refund for the Hog previously purchased could be a possible solution and then let us redo the quest continuing from Chief Tatamo.

• Details: After completing the quest the first time, trying to repeat I always receive the "the quest has ended due to an unknown error

Edit: the quest worked when I only have 1 White versal materia in my inventory not sure if bug or not

 

Ive noticed this with MULTIPLE quests. If you get a quest error, always try only having the exact amount of items needed. So drop the amount you dont technically need for the quest and only have the amount needed and it should work. Only came across 1 or 2 quests where I couldn't do absolutely anything to make it work.

Quest: Goblin at Black Mountain
Location: KFT
NPC: Chumji
Details: I collected all the use items needed to summon all 3 Goblin Bosses, and completed the quest up until the point where you need to drop the said use items(buckwheat paste, roasted pork, rice wine) to summon the Goblins. When dropping the items they do not spawn the Goblin Bosses.

• Details: After talked to Tae Soo, I successfully obtained 1 "Tae Soo's Peach" from him. Next, I went to "Mu Lung: Wild Bear Area 1" and dropped the item on the stone branch expecting 1 "Tae Roon's Note" would appear. Then bugs happened! The item "Tae Soo's Peach" I dropped on the branch vanished and JUST VANISHED without "Tae Roon's Note" in return...

• Quest: Stump Research (in The Old Tree quest line)
• Location: North Rocky Mountain: Mini Rocky Road

• Details: Dry branch don't drop from all types of stump

I found bugs that the quest items for area boss quests don't really drop from mobs. I only did the two quest-lines but it seems like its reasonable to assume that the quest items for all area boss quests don't really drop currently.

 

Looks like all quest items don't drop from mobs so far.

• Details: Can't restart the quests to gain tower scrolls again due an unknown error. For more details look at the printscreen that i took.

for the quest Dollhouse in ludibrium, you're warped to a map inwhere there's a bunch of fake dollhouses and one real dollhouse, you're supposed to find the real get the drops and finish the quest, but none of the dollhouses respawn, if someone already got the real house in a ch before I did I won't be able to complete the quest in this channel.

• Details: King Sage Cat 'elite' mob in Goblin Forest 1 does not drop 'Antidote Marble', rendering the quest uncompletable. Some players have reported that the drop is present in the table, but not at a high percentage, and multiple players have killed 20+ King Sage Cat without the required item dropping.

Could the drop rate of Antidote Marble be increased to 100%? Kinda silly to have to kill 100's of them just to get the item for the quest. Thank you greatly.

• Details: The holy water of life doesn't drop from skelegons in HTPQ. We spend 20 minutes farming and not one dropped. Genesis item dropped on the first kill. We followed the guides on the forums to the tee, if it's wrong/not dropping/ etc, I have no idea. Both the Skillbook guide/warrior guide are scarce on particulars, and aren't new source-up-t0-date as well
