Is it worth starting anew?

    Hi guys,
    Stumbled upon this private server out of sheer boredom. Pre-BB Maplestory was hands down my favorite MMO.
    Kind of tempted to get into MapleRoyals, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
    I'm looking for an active community to do PQs with and chat it up while playing Maple again. If the servers are empty, I'm sure to get bored and leave.
    So what do you guys think? Is it worth my time?
    PS: How is the pay-to-win on this server? If too much investment is needed to compete, I don't think I'll bother.

    There is always a good amount off players online, the community is nice.
    You shouldn't have too much trouble finding PQ partners for most PQs.

    There is a donator shop but that's just visual, no stat or level boosts to be bought.

    So yeah it's worth your time

    For summer, the range of players online each day go from 200 to 350+. kPQ is for levels 21+, so almost anybody can help you there. CPQ is also always full. Just find a guild and you'll be able to have fun. I recommend Lubs.

    Not at all. Donating gives you specific hair/eyes/clothing. That's about it.

    You won't find an equally nostalgic experience ANYWHERE! If that's what you're looking for, this is the place. We have the second largest and most active Maplestory Private Server community in the world (to my knowledge, anyway). And it's growing very rapidly!
    There are always people willing to PQ, and CPQ is crowded! To top it off, donating grants you no advantages over other players!

    OFCOURSE I think it's worth your time!

    But nobody ever random fames me ;-;

    The one time I thought I was getting fame from a random, it turned out to be clement on a mule :-(

    It's definitely worth it to give MapleRoyals a shot. I'm new to the server as well and I'm hooked.

    It'll be very easy to get a party for KPQ & CPQ. LPQ will be a bit tougher to gather people for, but it's not impossible considering those above level 51 can join. If you go to CH 1 EOS Tower there usually isn't anyone there. You'll have to smega & invite people or wait until someone smegas recruiting for the PQ.

    Definitely give it a shot. C:
