I've seen people saying they should HP wash heroes, but I was pretty sure it wasn't needed because they have power guard and a lot of HP to begin with. Is there really any reason to do it?
30k HP on a hero isn't necessary, but it makes life easier overall. That's the general consensus for HP washing.
Also a hero is easy to wash. Warriors in general are easy to wash, but for a hero there is not a high need to have max hp asap on 4th job like a drk. Hero can just slowly but surely reach the 30k
So could I just get away with wearing ~90 int gear? Or would I have to actually add base int? If the goal was the 18k range for 30k with HB
I MP/HP washed my page. I dont have the money for resets atm, but I have enough MP to wash to 30k HP. Like sila said, it's not necessary (Heros too), but its makes training a lot easier, and those % potions heal a lot more, for the same price. It also doesnt take a whole lot. That 90 INT from equips, will get you 2 whole washes per level, you should be good with just that by 135/155, of course depending on when you started and what level you are now.
HP washing is not needed for bossing or game playing the character at all. However, it will give you an enormous adventage on horntail boss team priority pick as a 30k Hero vs a unwashed hero as main Seduce mule or back up seduce mule. You will almost always the last pick or last resort as a warrior for HT team if you're unwashed unless you're running with friends or you have godly equipment.
