Problem: Either Chief Tatamo's part in the quest "The Holy Knight's Sword" is not working, OR the Skelegons in HTPQ are not dropping the Holy Water of Life item. Last night, I had attempted to obtain the item "Holy Water of Life" that is necessary for the quest "The Holy Knight's Sword"; the quest to obtain Holy / Divine Charge for Paladins. I followed our local 4th Job Skill/Mastery Book Guide, using the following instructions: Talk to the 4th Job Instructor Active this quest by heading to the bottom of The Grave of a Wrecked Ship Talk to Taeng the Explorer in the ship He'll ask you to hunt for 10 Shark Teeth from Sharks After giving the Shark Teeth, he'll hand you the Holy Grail to give to Chief Tatamo Chief Tatamo will ask you to fill the Holy Grail with Holy Water from Horntail Party Quest and direct you to Moira Talk to Moira in the mountainous area. She will ask you to find the following: An ice cube (Green Cornian) A skull mask (Dark Cornian) Manon’s Cry (Manon) 10 Red Dragon Skins (Red Wyverns) 1 broken dagger (Any Cornian) Next, find Mos to fuse a new dagger with the old dagger and the items (you need some other stuff to form the dagger) Enter Horntail PQ and reach the point where there are Skelegons. Kill them until they drop the Holy Cup with Holy Water filled. Head to Orbis Tower <8th Floor> and interact with the Statue of a Goddess and unlock Divine Charge I had done everything asked up until step #6, Chief Tatamo gives me no options regarding the quest; I cannot give him the Holy Cup, nor does he tell me to go fill it with Holy Water from HTPQ. I went back to Taeng to double-check to see if telling me to talk to Tatamo was a seperate quest, but he had nothing more to tell me and his quest is indeed considered complete: So, considering I had already done the HTPQ pre-quests and gotten my Dragon Elixirs, and not vividly remembering having to talk to Chief Tatamo when getting Holy/Divine Charge on my other Paladin in the Old Source, I just proceeded to HTPQ, also noting that the quest log didn't seem to suggest anything was stopping me. As you can guess, the Skelegons never dropped the Holy Water of Life for me, using my only 2 Dragon Elixirs up, due to me going back outside the cave to double check everything, only to go back in to try again and still not obtain it. You can see in my first image that I collected 127 Mark of the Squad 1's from grinding on the Skelegons inside, and still no Holy Water of Life dropped. At that point I just had to assume something was up with the quest; either that or I am extremely unlucky with drops. If I am missing something or misinformed, do tell me. Otherwise I have to stand by the idea of something being bugged.
I've looked at some old Character Issue threads related to this quest, and some people had the issue of thinking they get the "Holy Water of Life" from a spring inside of the Cave of Life instead of from the Skelegons. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/holy-charge-bug.36040/#post-201184 Is it possible that the New Source has changed this and actually reversed those two ways you might obtain it? I didn't see any water spring NPC thing anywhere when inside, but I wasn't exactly looking for one either thinking I am to obtain it from the Skelegons.
Taeng gives you an empty cup which you have to bring to the Stump in the sign up map for Horntail, and after talking to that stump you get the correct item. The item is not an item dropped from mobs.

Haha, well glad you found the answer at least! The quest never worked correctly in the old source which is why it dropped from Skelegons before. We don't update or maintain guides not provided by us, so I have to say no right now.
