3 truths and 1 lie

Hey guys, it's almost 4 AM and I thought this would be fun. It's an old camp game that acts as an ice breaker and lets people get to know each other a little bit better. With the new source and shops and everything, a lot of people are coming back after a long break or joining us for the first time.

But, the whole point is to post some truths about yourself and hide a lie among them and let people try and guess which is which. Obviously it's up to you to decide how much you share and what (and how elaborate you get), but everyone has a story and I think there's a lot of interesting things we've all experienced, plus it's fun.

I'll start us off with a tough one because I suck like that.

1) I did karate for over a decade and have a black belt.
2) I'm licensed as a small aircraft pilot. Zoom zoom.
3) I've had open heart surgery.
4) I went to high school with Meghan Trainor.

1) I'm partially deaf.
2) I love pizza with pineapple.
3) I hate ice cream on fizzy drinks.
4) Got into a pool full of dog shit.

Alright heres mine,

1) I cried while watching Rick and Morty season 1 episode 10.
2) I think Ryan Gosling's physical appearance is totally overrated.
3) I enjoy the stale/musty smell of an elevator.
4) I have a serious lack of spatial intelligence.

 

^Definitely not 2 because Ryan Gosling really is way overrated... I'll guess 3 lol

3) I think La La Land was a pretty mediocre movie
4) My favorite Overwatch hero to play is Soldier: 76

So did you actually have classes with Meghan Trainor or was she just in your graduating class? Sounds like something right out of an AskReddit thread

 

She was on my bus to school in the morning. She was quiet, didn't talk much, and she was a year or two below me so I never had real classes with her but I talked to her here and there.

Time stamp is more 4chan than reddit, but should do the job.

Well let I try mine
1.One of my eye being pierce by nail and my eye still OK and not blind

2.I could speak and understand 6 diff language

3. I love to watch game of thrones

4. The character I love the most in maple is Bishop.

 

The best thing about this is its rarely really obvious... im gonna go with... 4, because I don't think its completely unheard of for people to speak 6 languages or have medical curiosities.

 

Well too bad the answer is 3...I didn't even watch the drama since it's too bloody for me to handle with~~

 

Ah damn. Well, it's okay. GoT is awesome, but you're better off waiting for after they finish. I heard through the grapevine they'll be making a Wheel of Time series after GoT is done, and it's 10x better, less gorey, great story, and with like 14 books @ 900+ pages each, theres a LOT to show.

What 6 languages do you speak? Thats super cool

Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka, Malay, English (obvious), Japanese.

But will G.o.T end that soon? ...I think that series will at least last for 12 season ........I mostly toward to super hero type of drama, Green arrow, flash , Legend of tml, which doesn't need to think too much(yeah just watch for fun) , well my brain 'dead' after working......Can't help

 

Well they're reaching the end of published works, which means it wont be based on the books, so I dont know how long it will last.

Also, I know 1 word in malay, and it's "Apa?" which i believe translates to what. lol

 

Hahaha yup, apa mean what, lolz but how did you learn that?

 

I'm not entirely sure. I know small pieces of a LOT of languages. What gets me is the grammar, not so much the word to word translations
