I hope you realize that your report abuse system is 100% flawed and you don't look at context before banning someone.

TriHard69 was spamming S> Event Scrolls.

I asked him to show me all that he had, and after he showed a bunch of scrolls.

I asked "how much ea?"

He then said "lol." Cancelled the trade. then started being rude to me and harassing ME by calling me things like a retard scammer. FOR ASKING HIM "HOW MUCH EA?" He automatically assumed I was going to lowball him and started harassing me for it.

I said "How am I scamming?"

He was being insanely rude, but I guess you guys ban off no context screenshots.

I hope you can pull up chat logs or something.

When the reporter was being the rude player first, and takes one-sided screenshots which is why bans are so easy to manipulate.

You can see in my whisper "act like a HOMOPHOBIC SLUR then report me." The reason i said this was because
He was the one who was being rude to me first. Then reports me. Hence why I said "Grow up"

May I ask what hate speech did i use?

I banned you based on the evidence provided, so there was no need for me to dig up the chat logs, unless there were doubts, in which most of the time we'll invalidate the report.

Specifically, you were banned for calling someone a "f*g", a word that we have zero tolerance for.

As for the report you linked, I admit I misjudged as I failed to read the last 2 PMs on "fg" and "fgt". I will review that report again shortly.

 

I hope you understand that I am not a rude person. I would never just randomly outlash at some random guy and call them these things (if it's not a joke.)

TriHard69 (the reporter) was being rude to me first which is why i whispered back. I understand that I did not take screenshots (because I had no intention of reporting him) and that is probably why you will not look at my side. But if you would please look at the chat logs. He was the one who was being rude to me first I only said what I did in response to what he said to me first.

I personally believe this ban was 100% unfair. I'm not expecting anything out of this appeal, just to hope that you realize that the report and the report system in itself is very flawed. Where he can take very biased screenshots and report others to make it seem like he's done no wrong or was not the instigator in this case.

You can see in his screenshots. He only shows you part of the log, and not the full ENTIRE LOG. In both screenshots he only shows you parts of the chat logs.because he is trying to maintain his innocence ._.

 

The problem is that you were only banned because of a zero tolerance policy towards words with derogatory meanings - in this case, the american slang term that is derogatory towards gay people. If you had literally said anything else, there wouldn't have been an issue.

 

Ok. But if you read my whisper you should be able to see that I am not using the denotation of the word, rather the connotation which I said to point out how he was rude to me first. Once again I understand if it's part of your zero tolerance policy, and there is no debate on what I saidbut I personally feel the situation is biased since you should understand what I meant.

Zero tolerance means no exception. It doesn't matter if you were talking to a friend in all chat or if you were mad at someone. If you wanted to report him then you should've done so rather than calling him that.

 

Which is why I have repeatedly said that I believe that the report system is severely flawed where people can exploit anything you say IN GAME to get you bannned.

Pretty much sums up every ban for harassment and later unban appeal.

 

Then maybe if you read the rules you wouldn't have been reported for saying a word that gets you banned.

It's ridiculous.

But so be it. No point in having a ban appeal section in my opinion since you don't bother looking at context, just the fine print.
