Great guide, I'm using this right now. But I think some images need replacing, since I see "IMG" everywhere where there equips should be
Your guide says that min mp for fighters/heroes is 4xlvl + 156. Every other source I can find says that it's 4xlv + 56. Can someone confirm that the guide is incorrect?
My friend says thanks for the great guide, however the nightmare of using slash blast as the only main skill to lv 120+ is so painful for Heroes ._.
At lv 164, I had around 27272 HP. I washed 302 times for an extra 15828 HP which meant that my base HP at lv 164 was around 11444 HP. You basically want around 18k HP which is consistent with Plenty's estimates (1388MP=347 HP washes=[347*52.5=18200~]). At 177, I had approximately 900 more MP (1650~)than what my minimum MP was (4*177 +56=757). I had stop wearing INT equips by 155 ish. I only leveled with INT from Zhelm/HTP afterwards. My base INT leveling up was 20. I borrowed some godly INT equips. Let's just assume you want 30k HP by 155. You'll need 1388 bonus MP by lv 155. 1388/155=9MP per level. So you would need around 90 INT leveling up from lv 1-155. Obviously, this might be difficult at lower levels because of the level restriction on what INT equips you can actually use. Your total INT leveling up might have to be a bit higher at later levels to compensate. If you want 30k HP by lv 200 then it would be 1388/200=7~MP per level. Having around 100 total INT when your character can equip all of your INT gear should be enough. Some basic INT equips you could try buying) 7 INT from Wand. (Lv8) 5 INT from Earrings. (Lv15+) 10 INT from an Overall(Bathrobe). (Lv20+) 10 INT from Cape.(Lv25+) 8 INT from Shield. (Lv20+) 5 INT from Glove. (Lv10/20) 7 INT from Eye. (Lv35/45) 5 INT from Pendant. (Lv50) 2-4 INT from Shoe. (Lv50) 7+5+10+10+8+5+7+5+(2/3/4)=59/60/61 INT. Which means you might look to invest in bonus INT.
Thanks a lot mate! 30,000 Hp is probably far more than I can personally handle but I really appreciate the time you spent into answering the question. On a side note, would simply putting stats into int work instead of buying godly int items?
You can just raise your base INT if you can't afford godly int items. You'll have to waste it out once you've accumulated your desired base MP and you'll be weaker than if you put your AP into STR.
obviously i want to have as low base dex as possible without seriously sacrificing accuracy, but what is the min accuracy required to not miss end-game bosses?
Amazing Guide! I keep referring back to it for training locations and doublechecking what skills i need and it has helped a lot. One thing i will add though is you can get the eye accessory glasses from LPQ since u can start it at lvl35 and it has no max lvl restrictions, theyre great for low funded characters as they start with +1 all stats and 20hp/mp to start along with 3slots to upgrade it(you can only get one however so upgrade wisely). Also i was wondering why do you have the branch nose for lv40+ and not one of the other masks? Ive been using a Smiley Mask which i have found to be very useful so far due to the extra speed. Strongly suggest for newer players with a pet to grab the pet equip for it and scroll it with jump/speed, at about 110% Jump you will notice a difference and be able to jump onto surfaces you would have normally missed before which helps out sometimes and the extra speed helps you gather mobs quicker. Raccoon Mask is an eye Accessory not a Face Accessory like the sad mask.
But i don't understand why Final attack, panic and coma isn't recommended for Hero, i remember in original maple it was must have skills.
Final Attack was never a skill used even in old maple. Its used in new maple because it no longer has an animation. Coma Attack is more optional as once you have Brandish(lv10+) and Advanced Combo Attack(lv1+) it doesnt hit as hard as 2 Brandish full orbs would. Coma Attack also lowers your DPM when training, however i do find it useful to use to finish off a mob before you gather a new group or when you need to rebuff anyways. You can use it if you want but its not a necessity like maxing Combo Orbs is, Coma actually doesnt hit very hard at all until you have a full 5 orbs filled and the skill at least level15 and even at that point about 90%(Give or take 10%) of your damage will still come from Slash Blast when killing mobs. Also there is a slight delay when using a skill by pressing it compared to holding it down. Switching between Coma and Slash Blast consistently will make you end up losing DPS because every 2 coma 2 SB you could have used 5-6SB instead for more damage output.
