Hello~ Wondering if there is a specific Elemental Staff/Wand preferred for Bishops. Also for that Staff/Wand, what is it's best stat roll that I would be able to find. Thank You!
You can use an Elemental Wand 5, 6, 7, or 8. I -strongly- advise against using the Elemental Staffs because they require luk. Using an Elemental Wand will always be better than an Elemental Staff even if you have absolutely perfect gear to try to meet the Elemental Staff requirement with minimal base luk. Elemental Wands 5 and 6 are generally better than Elemental Wands 7 and 8. All the Elemental Wands have a maximum of 155 magic clean, but Elemental Wands 5 and 6 have a maximum of 8 int clean on top of that, while the Elemental Wands 7 and 8 have a secondary stat of luk on them. So you'll typically want to look for an Elemental Wand 5 or 6 (163 TMA clean) rather than an Elemental Wand 7 or 8 (155 TMA clean). You'll be hard pressed to find an Elemental Wand 8 anyway because they only come from the Ellinia gachapon, so let's look at the other three wands. The absolute best wand you could get would be an Elemental Wand 5. This boosts fire damage most, so it has the highest resale value because of it's naturally higher TMA than an Elemental Wand 7 and it's the wand that FP AMs would be after. However, perfect Elemental Wand 5s are surprisingly very rare despite people gaching at NLC rather often. I only know of one in existence. So you're likely stuck with the dilemma of going after an Elemental Wand 6 or 7. There are quite a few perfect Elemental Wand 6s I've seen on the market because people gach at Shrine often. But Elemental Wand 7s have historically been more highly prized. There are, in my estimation, quite a few people who are after perfect Elemental Wand 7s because they play IL AMs. The wands themselves are surprisingly common despite coming from the CBD gachapon, but they are naturally 8 TMA lesser than the FP AM wand elements. In general, if you're not going after perfecting a wand, just consider a 190+ TMA Elemental Wand 5 as your endgame. Decently strong, pretty common, high resale value with other bishops and FP AMs. And if you happen to come across a perfect one, it'll be wise of you to buy it and resell it for profit at the very least. You can probably flip it for a pretty penny with the people who are looking for a perfect one.
