-cracks fingers- If you're going to remove CS and WS from gach, don't let the current ones expire. Let's pull a RS and party hat those bitches. Nothing like having items that are worth 100x what 99% people in the game have
I disagree on the WS on average transferring mesos into assets. WS + 10% is a mesos drain... Ive gone up to 20 failed attempts before passing one 10%. also WS + Chaos and item and it fails your out 1b just from the scrolls, not to mention the item value.
He's not saying a weapon with 7 slots, which is then scrolled to completion is now suddenly worth a static 70 WS. He's saying the physical items, minus the recent inflation, are used as a means to trade quantities of mesos >2.1b
Not sure if lotteries have been presented but its a crazy big potential sink. The time frame can be whatever, or even no time frame with it based how the tree was, when its full, it pays out. For example, granted you're level 50, you can enter into a lottery, 3 options. Low - Fair - High Low - Enter 1m, every time it reaches 100m it pays out 62.5mil Fair - Enter 10m, Upon reaching 1bil someone wins 625,000,000 High rollers - Enter 40m or something, winner gets 2.5billion. Or it could run on a timer where every 24 hours it pops. Could be cs-go betting site styled where you can put as much as you want into the pot for a higher % chance of winning. Or some sort of limit like stated above. Pretty limitless options and lotteries are fun imo
Only problem with the system is if its a pot, they have to limit how many times you can enter. IE it's not a raffle, you can't buy 95% of the tickets to guarentee a win. 1 entry per account seems fair, level 50 and up.
Idk, in the CSGO betting websites people try to do that, someone puts $50 into the pot and someone else puts $950. Risk vs reward
Yeah but if you can flood a 50b pot with 50b of your own money, you effectively ruin the odds for everyone else. Im over simplifying but I dunno. It would need to be careful done so no one can just use it to make money. It's supposed to be luck, not a job.
Yeah I gotcha. With a 100m limit on the wheel though, if one guy puts 10m in the pot and another puts 90m, and they repeat this process 1 million times, based on the law of large numbers, the guy putting in 10m will win roughly 10% of the time and the 90m guy will win 90% of the time and it ends up being a wash and people will hopefully realize it's much wiser to play the wheel based on luck. The guy putting in 90m could lose on the first spin, then feel he's been cheated and put in another 90m, thinking to himself that he must win 9 more just to get his money back. Next thing you know, 3 spins later, the 10% hits again.
I honestly don't think that we have to change anything. The problems has been dealt with, it got fixed. The only thing remaining is, that the GM's try to figure out who abused this bug/hack/whatever and ban those people accordingly, and that will happen for sure. The market will recover itself, once some time passed. If we introduce high taxes or something else it would just hurt the people who did nothing wrong. If we remove CS/WS then new players will never have a chance to compete with old players, thats a horrible idea aswell. My suggestions, wait. Time will fix the market.
I'm pretty sure this server would go down before CS / WS were removed. Too many people would quit who already had them & it would completely destroy the economy that only has a few dents in it right now. Removing CS / WS might be the most absurd / dumbest suggestion i've ever heard no offense to Emrah. I also agree that time will heal the wounds of what that hack/dupe whatever it was that happened, if it was the root of the economies problems.
The reason for the price hike on CS/WS is because people are storing huge amount of them to use as currency. To stable the price and let WS/CS used solely for their own purposes, server need to come up with a replacement for currency, like a NPC that trade max meso into 1 etc item like a gold coin or such to simplified trading process beyond max mesos. Imagine a world with no abusive seller selling stuff over max meso say, rate for ws = 300m cs = 350m
If you look though, the prices of WS and CS are already beginning to stabilize and return back to their normal value on their own. It does go to show that the market more often than not ends up stabilizing on its own.
Correct. That was my point. But after the exploit people suggested all these things which needed to be done to stabilize what was caused by the exploit. My point was that afte patching, given time alone the market would stabilize itself.
Making cs and ws buyable from a npc might stabilize the market but on the other hand it'll also ruin a big part of the competitive scene, which is a big part of the game itself. Furthermore making cs and ws untradable will hurt big trades transactions.
I thought of another mesos sink idea. What about similar to league of legends a dummy target? Pay mesos to enter a room with a dummy target for 2 minutes. 1 minute to prepare and 1 minute to attack the dummy target, and the dummy target will give your total dps during the 1 minute. Then put an NPC in there to sell different buffs and special target dummy room only attack potions last for 1 minute each for mesos. Selling all the different buffs, echo, se, si, mw20, and attack potions like stoppers, apple, chocolate, etc each last exactly 1 minutes for mesos. Then a billboard npc to post top 20 dps ranking for each class I think this will sink great amount of mesos! Add on idea: Make this available for PVP or Party V Party CPQ style to see which person or Party win the dpm race. Another add on idea: Pay extra mesos to mask the target with a GM of your choice :^) stress relief can be a great mesos sink.
Problem is this: apples and stoppers will tank in price. I don't believe this is a good solution. Perhaps the market will balance out with time.
How??? The potion that I suggested is for this particular special "PQ" only. You can't bring it out of the room or use other potions from outside the room. You still need to buy normal stoppers, apples, for normal bosses like Zak, krex, and HT. I don't see how in any way shape or form it will affect stoppers and apples market pricr
I always thought that the recent hype in price of cs is a combination of low drop rate by shrine (which has now been changed) and the 4th anniversary event. The great cs crash in July was almost immediately after the end of the event, so I guess the demand just dipped?
