Instead of toggling the players, which could make you feel like "wth am I doing in here? :c", you could simply choose an amount of players to get unstunned, able to start, then to continue on and send X and X people.

Another solution could be to host one in each channel, then choose one winner from them and continue it with the winners, which would make smaller jump quests.

Toggling players would be the "loner" method, not really worth it.

After trying a JQ event today... I totally see the point of it. There's absolutely no way to find the platforms if you've never done the JQ before and there's a hundred people standing on one tiny little platform with 50 others falling and jumping at the same time.
I had to look up a video to see where the platforms even were, and by then people had reached the top.

To some people, it is more fun to do it this way. Futility is the biggest killer of my gaming experience, when there are only 3 winners and there are 50+ people ahead of me.

Hopefully I am not alone :) That is why this suggestion is to TOGGLE view, so everyone can experience the JQ in a way that's best for them.

I'm complaining that when you have 150+ people in the same room attempting the same JQ, the barrier for those not familiar to the JQ is unreasonably high.

I am arguing that the point of a JQ is to be able to time your jumps correctly, hit platforms, watch for obstacles, etc - NOT to be a guessing game as to where, in this huge sea of players, is the next pedestal going to be.

May I suggest, then, that the toggle will allow you to only see the members in your party (if you are in one)? That way you can compete against your friends in the same GM event.

Actually this sounds pretty darn good. If there were a few of GMs online they could split the amount of eager participants between two or three channels and this way lower the amount of people PER JQ but not eliminate the total number of players. Less clutter, have 1 BIG winner per channel and 2-3 minor prizes for runner ups? We need to keep suggesting things so the GMs can iron out the problems and make it fun and accessible for everyone.

TBH I don't think this is viable. Gm events are set up right now to require one GM host for each room. This would require 4+ GMs to be online and available just to host an event.

Multiple channels per event would be an idea- but that would require more than one GM to host the event.
I dont like the idea of the GMs randomly deciding to let the stun go for only x amount of players, because then they have a lead. The point of the JQ events are to complete the JQ, which is a challenge in itself. All the other players give new people 0% chance at completing the JQ because the platforms are hidden under the players.

Also I wish that people weren't allowed on mounts during the events. They're SO big and they take up so much space (aka the unicorn mount), it's impossible to see through it.

Which is why jump quest events could be for special occasions/whenever there are 4 GMs on, whom wants to host one, OR if there is an event moderator thing set up.

Jump quest events are fun, but if they cant do something to where we could ~toggle the other players then maybe it would be a good idea to save the jq events for when multiple gms are on and it could be hosted on 4 channels, 1 big winner from each channel and 2-3 runner ups from each channel, with the population in the server increasing so fast being able to have more then 3 winners would be nice, and being actually able to see while you jump and have a chance to win if your not famililar with the jq would ne nice too!:)

Theres lots of other events gms can host while they are on alone one night bored and decide to host an event, i dont know if there is a thread for something like this but maybe we can make a thread of events that we'd like to see that are simple for 1 gm to hold, or if there is a thread everyone check it out get the thread going again and leave some new ideas.:)

I went on two jump quests and at the start you cant see where you are, but to me its only in the first few platforms were it gets really tough and very crowded.

I just did the Zak jump quest and what i feel would be the easiest way is to improve the mini map better coloring and better visual just for the jq maps if thats easier. I could jump using the mini map but now you cant even tell what is the platform and what is the background.

I dont think you wanna waste a lot of time just to improve one small thing as a jq event
but it would be much easier if you just give platforms and maybe player icon some better visual on the mini map so you see when you are at the edge just better color would help.
