HP washing and leeching are the most unfun mechanics I've encountered in any game.

    Listen you can't change it there would be to much of a back lash at least from where i see it. As far as responding to the rest Rennac i think im done this is getting nowhere and hell i was just trying to feel like part of the community again by throwing in my 2 cents when responding to the OP . I didn't think i would have too explain myself this much over something so small it feels tedious.

    It'd be really cool if there were PQs that end with boss, and all the tasks in the PQ require the help of a variety of classes. Sort of encourages you to make a well balanced team.

    Cause a lot of PQs are just mind numbing, like LPQ climbing up ladders lol.

    I quite see where you're coming from, but I did want to play devil's advocate a bit.

    In fairness, the developers did leave ways for players to develop their characters differently with the option of adding ap in HP to tank stronger bosses. I don't think they thought out all the implications of the damage and bosses and this was one of the forerunner MMOs of it's ilk. I like that they at least left the option of being weaker by a lot but able to feasibly fight the strong bosses.

    But I also know what you mean and wish it were different. I think the damage bosses do should just be lowered honestly imo

    what are you talking about hanging on a rope for 100+ levels and leveling it with 1 skill is hella fun

    Since people so lazy since... i don't know.. i think leeching service at this point its actually balanced.
    No one will be play 1 hour to provive free levels and if you do, you're aa great person.
    Also the balance on leech + selling npc items its so helpful since its almost 10
    20m for profit. That's enough to buy some INT/AP resets to help you character.

    This its a MMORPG.. RPG games its about farming and long of hours of training. In order to get a strong character, you need to spends toons of training (or in this case leech) hours to get funded and provive a fun time :D

    By the way.. almost all private server hace this AP.reset system. The only difference its royals provive 3.1 exp rate and a little more drop.

    I was thinking, what if there was an item, available from NPCs for an obscene amount of money, that just straight up increased your max HP by a small amount like 12-18?

    Not sure how much it would cost, but it would have to be quite a bit more than it would cost to HP wash most characters, so as not to invalidate the effort for people who already washed, and not remove incentive to wash altogether.

    It would be a late-ish game option for people who didn't wash their attackers starting from day 1. It'd also remove some of the incentive to leech, cause you'd be making/saving more raw mesos by grinding your own character so you can buy HP later, instead of spending it to leech, and it'd take a lot of the anxiety off making an attacker because you never have to worry about it being "too late".

    I don't think there really is an amount of meso/nx cost that would make this fair. There are a lot of players who use the HP/MP wash mechanic with extreme dedication and careful planning to maximise their return. So this would still be a huge blow to what they would feel was a massive accomplishment that can now just simply be purchased if you have the funds.

    Yeah, but what it was a looooooot of money? Like it's cost upwards of 10s of billions to get to where you'd be by regular HP washing. It'd also be a huge meso sink, if that's still a problem.
