Does Hex of the Beholder give the 25 att buff randomly once in a while, or is it constant? How long does the att buff last? Is it worth maxing right now?

    Hello,
Hex of the beholder gives you a new buff each 5 levels (weapon att comes from level 20). The catch of the skill is, that the w.att boost isn't adds on with potions w.att boost, HOWEVER, the skills w.att boost won't override potions att boost if the potions att is greater. For example, if I use a heartstopper and than activate hex, the stopper's affect will stay, in contrast to hex's affect (the 26 att of the hex won't stuck with the stopper's att).
And thats why you should pump in hex at later levels (I asked the same queations regarding hex not long ago in the forum).
    Gl in game :D

Thank you for the reply, but what I am referring to is the consistency of the attack buff. I know that it gives other buffs like defense and avoidance.

My question is does it give att, avoid, and Def all at the same time or does it rotate between them? And if it rotates, how long do the buffs last before the next one is cast

It rotates between them. I only leveled it to 20 on my drk but looking at the information on bbb, at max it applies a buff every 10 seconds to w.def, m.def, avoid, acc, att and they each last 80 seconds.

If they superimpose each other, doesn't that mean it's a permanent buff for all?

Usually when I boss with beholder hex on, I have all the mentioned buffs activated. They are casted 1 by 1 and will wear off after a certain duration has past for each of them (80 sec according to ^ posts?) - once one of the buffs are worn off, they will be recasted automatically.

PS: from what i tested, maxed Beholder Hex only gives 15 Wep attack rn

At least for me, it feels like once it casts the buff it won't recast the same buff until it wears off. So you'll have brief moments without one or two.

Although 25 att is the known amount for Wep Att buff, my experiments only gave 15 att upon comparison using energizer and other weaker att pots.
That post from John was on 3rd of July and Beholder Hex overriding problem got fixed/updated on 7th of July meaning there wasn't any other update to fix the wep att boost IF it was glitched.

Well, it is indeed meant to be 15wa.
Not that attractive considering Dragon blood n rage giving 12wa isn't it?
