Favorite Maple Memories From Back in the Day?

Oh man, where do I begin..

My brothers are 10-12 years older than me, and I was always living in their shadow, I wanted to fit in but I was so young so I never really grasped any game concepts like Age of Mythology, or Dynasty Warriors, so I just watched in awe.
I'll never forget the day I saw them both playing Maplestory. Every second weekend my dad and I would drive for over an hour to pick them up at their mother's house, their uncle was over playing the Maplestory beta, and we were all mesmerized.
The second we got back to my house, they both went to the only two computers we had and downloaded the beta. I watched them play through Beginner's Island and when they got to level 10 it was my turn to make a character. I thought there were sooooo many selections back then for appearance! Lmao. I couldn't decide a name for my character so my older brother named her PurpleEyes. I didn't get far, I think I was only 6-7 years old when the beta was released, they both hit level 40 I only managed to get to level 18-20.
I remember waking up one morning, running downstairs to beat one of them to a computer, only to find out they deleted all of the beta characters. I was so upset haha, I actually boycotted the game for a bit, I refused to remake PurpleEyes because she was special to me, my big brother named her.
Eventually I did, but they were level 50 and I was only level 10. They got higher and higher, and I just lazed around Henesys since I was a cleric and levelling was really hard.
By the time I quit Maplestory, my cleric was level 58, my brothers were above level 130. I lost my account due to it being hacked, but they still have theirs and their original characters are past level 200.

We took a lot of breaks here and there, we all played World of Warcraft for about four years straight. During that time I found MapleRoyals and I was so excited, but they told me it was dumb (lol) so I played alone, but due to guild issues they quit and moved back to Maplestory.

They went to Reboot, and I came back here.

Some bonus memories I'll always cherish:

-I couldn't read well/at all so I memorized the town names by randomly clicking on them via the taxi, (I ended up in Perion instead of Henesys a lot...)
-Maplestory helped me with learning how to read
-I used to ride the Ellinia boat just to get spooked by the balrog. I wasted soooo many mesos. I was level 8-16.
-I bragged about my brothers to everyone in game, I idolized them so much because they were a high level
-Perion was the "Fm" for a bit in channel 1
-People used to gather in that one spot above the Kerning City taxi
-Henesys gatherings
-"Party at Maya's house" (she was so sick, she probably wanted everyone to leave her the f alone lol)
-Sleepywood Sauna gatherings in channel 1
-Drop games in the FM, Kerning city hospital, Sleepywood Sauna, Henesys Market (on top of that wooden thing beside the FM entrance), and my personal favourite; drop games on the ellinia/Ludi ship, only to have the items dissapear due to the ride being over haha
-The endless Maple Bfs, I dated like 5-6 people at once haha
-Hunting slimes around Ellinia was where I spent most of my time grinding between level 8-20
-Henesys Hunting Ground 1
-Ant Tunnel channel 1, so many people fighting over spawns
-Begging to be invited to any wedding in Amoria
-I dated a guy, we were both 8 at the time on Maplestory and it lasted until we were 12, then he found out he was gay lmao, we're still good friends to this day!
-I used to get EVERYONE I was friends with in elementary to play Maplestory. There were over 10 people I knew irl online at once and we were all so excited
-I used to beg and beg for NX every time mom and I went to the store
-I used to explore every map, I took my time and a lot of the times I'd die but I didn't care one bit. I used to go to Ludi at level 30 and try to dodge monsters, Orbis at level 15, El Nath was level 20, etc.
-Those colourful cat things in Orbis were my favourite monster
-I put 30 str into my cleric because I couldn't kill the red snails on beginners island :^(
-I used to pretend I was a badass at level 14 and spend hours killing imaginary enemies in the main town of Ellinia. Like, I was pretending to save the town, alien invasions, n' shit. Life was good. (You're welcome for saving the town, btw)
-MapleRadio
-I used to listen to the BGM so much to the point where my game-illeriated parents recognized it immediately when I started playing this server in Jan 2014 (lol props to them)
-When aqua road was released I spent all of my time there (I was level 30-40ish) and I got to my first job advancement by grinding with those giant orange puffer fish
-I finished all of the Korean folk Town quests on a cleric at the corresponding levels. Yikes
-Magtia is my favourite city, I'd always go there when I was level 25ish
