Guys. Tradeable and a 20m NPC is the way to go. If you don't want to drop 20m on an NPC, find someone who can sell them to you for less, or farm them yourself. That's what it comes down to. The whole point in the AP reset "movement" was to get them to be tradeable again; and also add a money sink. At 2.5m an AP reset there is no sink, but at 25m+ it would be unfair. 20m for an AP reset is reasonable from an NPC seeing as they don't need to be farmed, and you can make a fortune from Gachas which are for one, 1k NX in the Cash Shop, and 2, mob available just like AP Resets. Now, tradeable will also make the black market where people can sell them for 5-15m each, or however much they want to; and it will still be fair because it will be below 20m, but it will also be limited based on people who farm them; people who want to sell and not use them, amongst many other factors. There is no 100% fix to this, but there is a very nice solution, and that's tradeable AP resets, with a 20m NPC. That way there's multiple ways to attain them, but none are completely easy. AP Resets are also for sale in the cash shop, 3.8k NX each if you don't want to spend your "hard earned" mesos.
I really don't see any reason for making an npc selling them for 20M. it's useless.. If ap resets will be tradeable again , even right now, i bet there are so many people , especially bishops who got TONS of ap resets for sale , and just like it was with the gach revamp (when people start gaching so much so prices went down.) they will cost like 2-5m ea , maybe a while after they will go up to 10m (Maybe..) , but with the speed that this server is growing & there are so many bishops = alot of ap resets = low prices. so how the npc will help? If anything i think ap resets should be even harder to get from mobs / tradeable and without NPC.
Some people need 100s of AP resets, others need 10-20. Just because some are currently farmed up, doesn't mean there's a limitless supply. As the server grows, the demand will grow, the price will raise, and an NPC will be very useful at that point. If the NPC is selling them for 20m each, people aren't going to sell them for 2m each. And if they do, they are desperate for cash. Others with patience will make like 10-15m each. Once an AP reset is used, it's gone. There aren't currently an unlimited number in the economy. In fact, my guess is there's probably like MAYBE 5k of them. That's assuming every active player has 100 AP resets on them. Including the new active players.
As for me , ofc i won't sell for 5m. I'm just telling you what the prices were like a week ago (4-6m ea) But , maybe the number of the ap resets is not the only thing that got bigger , and there are more people that will buy them now ,so it might will be 10m or even more , who knows..
I feel that right now its good.. quite rare drops of AP resets. No need for NPC to sell it. It is very fun to trade and do business with AP resets. Good especially for newbies to get money, like me ^^ Those who need a lot of AP resets just have to take more time to get it. They have a choice. Also they can just mega "B> AP Resets" then the whole world will flock to them with cheeky prices. So yea its all good i feel.
Yep agreed, that is not the point though. If prices drop on npc to 10 mill ea then people would not sell more then 6 mill ea in fm. So all in all the npc will stay there at that price and no one will probably buy from there ever it will just affect the price of player sold ones from 6 mill maybe to 5 mll ea if npc one goes down to 10 mill ea. I remember it happening on GMS buying meso bags on CS. Never affected the economy since they were overpriced. NPC = 10 mill follows player sold 5 mill NPC = 20 mill follows players sold to 5-6 mill Hence NPC will hardly affect free market prices. (this is prediction based on my hypothesis, no real hard evidence ) But i am glad Matt made them tradeble again since it gives more power to the new players and balances the economy well. Good choice Matt
