Closed Didn't Receive correct amount of exp

Problem: Turned in quest but didn't receive all my exp.
Details: While completing the brand masteria quest on my mule I turned in the required items of 1x white versal materia and 7 black crystal ores and the text box says i received 64k exp which would have leveled me multiple times from lv10 instead my character did not level the appropriate amount of times. I turned the quest in 7 times and only got from lv12-19 which is incorrect since i should have gained 448k exp. The required amount of exp needed to get from lv10 - 30 would be 426,181 according to http://bbb.hidden-street.net/experience-table

 

You can't level more than once and 99%, from a single quest turn in/boss kill

 

has that always been the case? i remember doing the quest on my hero and didn't have an issue

 

Honestly don't remember if it was in old source (I never did anything that would warrant more than 1 or 2 levels), but since new source it has been im like 99% sure. Maybe someone else can chime in and help lol

 

In old source you could lvl up multiple times. (Killing a monster at 99.99%, you'd lvl up to next lvl 99.99).

 

When did you do the quest on your Hero?

As far as I know, Evan is correct and you can't gain more than one level + 99%.

24 or 25, i think thats what ended up happening

 

That seems to be the case, yeah since the experience gained from the quest isn't enough to level two times at level 25.
