Hey all, Looking for some advice on gearing. Was wondering if people could help me compile a list of end gear with there prices. Keep in mind I'm not looking for perfect everything costing upwards of 5b per equip. I currently am lvl 88 with mediocre gear all around, here is a list off the top of my head not sure if all is correct: 110tma maple wisdom staff 32int z helm 18int doros (M) 7int shoes 14tma dark noels 12tma fallen leaf 7int ester sheild Currently only have about 1 bill and are looking to replace each item with end game gear one at a time starting with the biggest upgrade/dollar. Any advice at all would be extremely helpful as prices in the fm can be sketchy to say the least. I want to at least know I'm not getting super scammed when looking for end game times Thank you all I will edit the post with recommendations given to help other people in the same situation
Best advice I can give is to not think so much about your equips at these low levels up till Lv120. Priests are unlikely to deal high damage and you're only useful because of Mystic Door and Holy Symbol. Damage output comes from Genesis, and anything lesser than that should not be of your concern. What you would want to do is to rush to Lv120 using the mesos you currently have to buy leech (or to grind if you wish not to spend them). Thereafter, you should have little to no problem getting funded. The next to think about is which item gives you the most magicATT/meso rate. I always advise my incoming Bishop buddies that they shouldn't think about Genesis20 and Elemental Wands5/6 yet. The argument I have against buying those book/items early is that at lv120-129, there isn't any power spike. With a Genesis at Lv1, you are already able to 1hit all the low level leech areas. Getting a genesis20 will not do you any good at all (for level 120-129). Likewise, if you were to buy an Elemental Wand5/6, you'd only be using it once you're 130. You should think about getting earring/eye/face/shield/glove/robe. There isn't a particular order that you should follow in getting these items because like I mentioned before, there isn't any power spike. Although, the highest upgrade rate you can get is the Doros robe, followed by the earrings, then the shield, then the glove. Cape is really easy to obtain, since you can just get a ma7 purple gaia cape and scroll the 5 slots with 60%. Lastly, equip yourself with the Raccoon Masks since they are the most expensive. The process is quite long but if you choose to sell leech at low bishop levels, you could actually earn a few billion mesos till 130. By then, you should have a few equips settled and even an Elemental wand. If you are unsure about prices in FM, you could take advantage of the search bar in forums and type in keywords for certain items. Keep in mind that prices do change. So you should only refer to forum posts about these items at most 1month back. P.S. If you find that I'm not really answering your question, the point I'm making here is to teach a man how to fish. @clapyouhat1 I can't thank you enough for the info that was alot of good information. Currently I am just power leveling to 120 like you said, mostly by providing HS to arch mages or hime parties. My goal isn't to gear up for the low levels it was more to start buying my big late game items to use for 120+ but minus the wand I can wear everything else already. It's my first billion I've ever made so I thought it would be a good time to start replacing my items one by one with the late game items I'll need. Idealy I'd like to be as godly as possible to start 1 hitting SB as early as possible so I can get on that money making train with item drops.
Yes, looks like you're very clear about what your goals are. To 1hit SB, that's around 1077TMA (some say 1090TMA) but to reach that, you'll need to have minimum targets. I suggest that you don't think about big late game equips just yet. Get decent ones, then move on from there. After 1hitting SB, you'll be hungry to 1hit Ulu2. Decent equips help you reach those goals. What I feel is decent is near 30tma robe/shield/earring (26-30), as for glove, you can get at around 20tma.
Looks like robes are pretty cheap. My shield is horrible but even a 21tma maple sheild is about 1b so I guess that will be lower on the list for price efficiency. Which in your opinion is cheaper after the robe, earnings or gloves @clapyouhat1?
Definitely the capes. You could try scrolling 1 since cape scrolls are quite cheap and the purple gaia cape isn't expensive either. The decent equips mentioned are not far fetched if you invest a little more time to earn some mesos. The accessories can help you too! Get stuff like Krex Ring, Silver Dep and Zakum Helmet (hopefully most of the scrolls passed)
I got semi lucky with a 32int z helm. 7 60s on a 18 int. I'm hesitant to buy dep star, it jumped from 180m a month or two ago to 380 now which I'm not willing to pay for 5int with my other equips being replaceable for a greater increase/meso. How does getting a krex ring work? Is it similar to z helm? Just do pre quests and afk in corner?
