Duplicate Was trading to my other char, but didn't get the item, lost 300m

Hi,

I was transferring some gear from one of my chars to a different one through drop trading in a FM room. So I dropped the items that I was transferring on my main char. When I went on my other char, I picked up all the items that I've dropped, except for my 7int 9m.att wg. I saw the notice on the side "You have obtained (Work Gloves)," but I couldn't find it in my inventory. At all. I'm not wearing it either; it somehow disappeared. Is it possible that the item that I bought was hacked?

Did you happen to drop trade any cash shop items during that? I read a thread recently where someone had lost the item picked up after a cash shop item was picked up.

Actually, yes I did! Do you have any idea how I could get back my gloves?

 

Unfortunately I have absolutely no clue the issue with this and so far that thread looks to be unanswered as well. So I'm sure they would be able to look into it for you and possibly check into you having those gloves (though obviously proof would be better). I guess at this point we just have to wait and see.

I wish you good luck though as that can be stressful. At least I was able to inform you what caused it so you won't do it again!

 

This bug also happend with you trade a nx item? Interesting..
Edit: Probable you will get back you items since the system say you're already loot them in trade. Aniways GM's don't have answer for this and i guess we need to wait untiil they fix it.

I don't know if I'm allowed to bump this, but are the GMs going to do anything about this? Can they at least acknowledge the bug? Losing 300mil is quite a huge loss for me, so I really hope that I can be compensated fairly.

I would greatly appreciate if the GMs at least acknowledge this issue, as it made me lose 300mil, and potentially causing others to lose valuable items as well in the future.

 

You can't bumps the thread and theres nothing they can do atm. You need just wait.

Wow, that is absolutely unjustified. Even if you didn't have screenshots, I think they would be able to look into logs and whatnot to verify the loss of your items. I truly do not understand why the GM's won't compensate their players for their mistakes; I would even appreciate it if they would at least acknowledge the issue and take responsibility to maintain the well-being of this game.

But thank you for your response, now I know what to expect in the future, despite the slimmest chance that they will resolve these bugs.

 

be careful about discussing how you feel about the mods here, i received a nasty notice from andreas yesterday informing me that i was hurting one of their feelings by commenting my opinion in a manner similar to how you did so just now, just a warning though

 

I genuinely mean no disrespect to the GMs, but I do believe that what I am saying is true. Not going to lie, it's a pretty amazing feat to see how far this server has come the past few years, but when critical issues like these are disregarded, I personally think that it's completely unreasonable for GMs and other staff members running this server to not even acknowledge them. What intrigues me even more is that there's plentiful of GMs and staff, so they should have a plentiful amount of time to examine these issues, but unfortunately, this is not the case.

Like I said, I'm honestly not trying to be rude or disrespectful (I'm really sorry if I did come off that way), I'm just trying to understand why the GMs won't address this issue and others like these.

 

We acknowledge the bug, but as of now, nothing can be done until the developers look into the cause of it.

For now, as a precaution, don't drop any CS items/normal items and then loot them back. Trade it the normal way. Otherwise, drop & loot one item at a time.

 

I've heard a lot about this issue, does it only happen with normal itens, or if you're dropping only CS itens can happen that too? (Like lots of AP Resets)

 

If one of the staff would like to respond to further help you/OP they will be able to, but for now I am locking the thread as it has kind of gotten off track/the issue is known and as Kai said, just be careful and use normal trades.
