I play with my friend and sometimes id go over to his house or he'd come over to mine. i was wondering if this was against the voting rules since we are sometimes (only when i go over or he comes over) playing on the same ip which i read about can be banned for. Pls help i need more details on this and i want to know if this is against the rules.
you can get banned man.. I understood that the rule says you can not have 2 or more accounts that have already voted using the same IP for play in the last 24h so when you guys are going to play at same house just take turn to vote..
Like he said ^^ you are most likely going to get banned for vote abuse if you try it. 2 account that votes from the same external IP addres will get you banned. What you need to understand is that the human being doesn't really matter in this situation. Keep in mind that 1 house = 1 votes per website
Rather than endless speculation, why don't you wait for a staff response? Because I believe I've heard the opposite to what has been said, but without staff confirmation it's not wise to gamble.
In theory this shouldn't be bannable as long as you both remember to take your laptops to each other's places and don't use each other's comps.
still do not FULLY understand this but i just hope i am not wrongly banned. And if i am would the ban be full time? (eg. 7 days for wrongful ban due to friend coming over)
That being said, I could vote with my school laptop and my desktop tower without getting banned ... (2 accounts) OT: Vote at your house before going to your friends houses just to make sure nothing bad happens.
